I did a little deep dive into this Nima Yamini character. I knew he looked familiar, we ran in similar circles in NYC He only recently started identifying as Jewish in the past few years and before that only ever identified as Persian. There are 0 hits on him mentioning "Jew" or "Jewish" anywhere on the internet before 2022 (briefly) then 2023. He has mixed up his details of his family in his twitter posts, first saying it was his grandfather that married a Jewish woman, then saying it was his father that married a Jewish woman. He also has called himself a Persian Jew and led people to the conclusion he is of Persian Jewish heritage while in other posts he says his dad's side is all Muslim from Iran and his mom's side is Jewish from Jerusalem, which he only started claiming recently. He frequently speaks "As a Jew/as someone Jewish" etc and pretty much only ever in contexts of Muslims vs Jewish issues on X. There is zero evidence his mom is Jewish, much less a Cohen. As far as the circle he ran in adjacent to mine in NYC, he ran with the shyster-y "I'm a DJ but rich somehow" circle that did a lot of blow and generally acted like assholes. I mostly wanted to punch these guys in the face but sometimes people in his circle hired my company so I could not. One never paid me fyi. So, my conclusion is that he most likely is not Jewish. He's a shyster and a fake and larping as a Jew. At best, he has some Jewish heritage somewhere down the line and is using that to speak asajew.
