Thank you. This makes sense. I haven’t been using margin…. Think those selling margin and or cash will now rotate into MSFT, PLTR and/or LITE? AJ’s goal is to buy NVDA back near the end of August, so looking to deploy margin or capital allows an investor to capitalize on any upside in an asset between now and end of August. Wondering what stocks he will rotate to. The three mentioned above seem to be the best opportunity rn? Also Micron. Thanks again for the response. I’m new to HC community 🤝

I think (keep in mind I have not read the article yet) AJ mentioned that they are still leveraged, i.e. they are negative on their account and have outstanding debt. My read is that selling NVDA contributes to lowering that debt and not necessarily buying anything new with the proceeds. Such that should there be major market turmoil due to high oil prices or the SpaceX IPO he can then take on more debt to should highly attractive names sell off hard. For instance if he has 100k in allowable debt, and currently uses the full 100k then there is no way of buying opportunities on the cheap. However if the outstanding debt is reduced to 50k (due to paying off with NVDA proceeds) then he has another 50k to spare whenever a good opportunity arrives. Also it reduces the likelihood of a margin call should we see a major sell off.

Yes. On the @alojoh channel I would have received a lot of silly comments at the time, accusations and misrepresentations. Glad that chapter is behind us. The smart investors on @alojoh can still participate but takes just a little bit more work. All they have to do is to study our materials instead of being spoon-fed.

@hyhieu226 @OpenAI @xai Start lifting weights, eat and sleep well. Limit screen time. Do some fun activities. This will fix it. With your stellar resume you can get a job later everywhere.

I have made the difficult decision to leave @OpenAI. Working here and at @xai before was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I have met the best people. Not the best people in AI. Not the best people in tech. Simply the best people. At these companies, I have helped creating extremely intelligent entities that will meaningfully improve our lives. The work makes me proud. But the intensive work came with a price. I cannot believe I would say this one day, but I am burnt out. All the mental health deteriorating that I used to scoff at is real, miserable, scary, and dangerous. I am going to take a break from frontier AI labs, and will take my family to my home country Vietnam. There, I will try something new, and also search for a cure for my conditions. I hope I will heal. Until then.

@alojoh I agree with you. I think Republicans are cooked for midterms. Hopium: The polling in Argentina for a Melei win was at 6%. He won. Hoping for another silent majority win here.

I used 4 different leading AIs to study the likely outcome of the midterms (including non-woke Grok). They all came to the same conclusion. Bottom line: No credible forecaster or market gives Republicans better than a long-shot chance right now. Democrats are the clear favorite today, with the data echoing the strong historical midterm penalty. Depeding on what stocks you invest in this has significant ramifications for you!
