When used correctly, iOS shortcuts can be great for efficiency. Recently, I combined the powers of shortcuts and @todoist to create a system that allows me to enter a number of different tasks at once. I’ve been using it for my grocery lists! Here’s how I did it:

If there's a task you don't like doing, automate it 🤖 or pay someone to do it for you 🤷

@todoist ever considered task dependencies? Instead of setting a date for certain tasks, they would become due when a task they depend on is marked as complete... 💡

I'm finding the majority of "original" ideas on twitter are bot generated. Nothing against this, just interesting.

@ashleybartlett @todoist I've been using Tasker on android for years. I just recently started using shortcuts and I've been pleasantly surprised by how intuitive it is. I actually just tested it out. You can trigger the creation of a new task based on location with an automation rather than a shortcut!

@justin_lapid @todoist Something I've seen, is using a shortcut to replace the 2x2 square add task icon I have on my home screen. I might do that. Maybe I need a remind me when I get home automation. I use that a lot in the car, not with todoist sadly.
