John Tortorella declined to speak with the media after advancing to the Western Conference finals. The Golden Knights also didn’t open the dressing room after the game. They brought 1 player into a side room to speak, along with the two who spoke at the podium. I’ve been covering the NHL for nine years and never seen either of those happen once.

While I absolutely despise the franchise, have to give VGK credit. They were a much better team around the margins — puck management, at the dot, etc. — which matters this time of year.
Should be a valuable teaching moment about what it's gonna take for the young Duckies.

God I've fucking hated Gibson the entire time he was on the team. He literally never wanted to be a Duck and he actually sucked ass, they said "well he's a few years younger and has 'more potential' than Freddy" (even though he never lived up to that hype. I really hope Freddy wins one this year, if we do indeed go on to lose this game
