“The fuel price is biting hard, but look around, let us thank God together, that you are better off than those in Kenya and other African countries” - Tinubu is comparing Nigeria with non oil producing nations! This guy is very insensitive.

🤣 This one shocked this Arewa guy. IPOB and ESN are not terrorists. Why is the Nigerian army conducting sweeping operations in the southeast but refusing to do the same against terrorists killing people in Zamfara bush and other northern states?

So heartbreaking Today they are being laid to rest, innocent lives taken in the Angwan Rukuba Palm Sunday attack Tears fill the earth as families say goodbye far too soon, pain that words cannot heal, wounds that time alone may not erase May their souls find eternal rest in the arms of the Lord May God wrap His loving arms around their families and give them strength in this unbearable moment May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, comfort every broken heart

In all honesty, Abia State Fire Service made us proud yesterday during the fire outbreak. Watch the drone shots calmly and zoom in on the 3rd and 4th pictures. You will notice that over 4 fire trucks 🚒 were present. Do you know why I didn’t bother myself? Similar incidents have occurred a few years ago, and I personally joined the ABA fire brigade to the same location owned or managed by Nigeria Brewery. They ended up getting me arrested and detained, which till date, the issue hasn’t been resolved. But when I saw the thick smoke around OSISIOMA where I went to cover the ongoing construction of the ABA bus terminal, I called the federal firemen and directed them to start moving towards the thick smoke. Again, I’m calling the attention of the Abia State government, ably led by our amiable Governor, to investigate and scrutinize the activities happening around this company. Do you know why? Even as the fire flames were very high, they still made sure that their gate remained locked, even when the issue had gotten out of control. That was why they locked me up inside their facility, brought a cameraman to snap me like a common criminal before pushing me out. Thank God we got there on time, and after the fire stopped, all the firemen and security were asked to come around. The federal service men asked me to join them. Ion getting to their gate, we were asked to stay outside their facility. Mc Model TV and DBiggestMouth will bear me witness. More kudos to Chukwuemeka Alajemba, the man in charge of the Abia State fire team, for their quick and prompt action. Abia State must succeed. Mc Model Tv

Peter Obi (2) There was a course we did those days for MPA at the Kennedy School titled “Leadership: the Management of Self”. Its premise is that leadership starts with the management of self. From ‘self-awareness’ to ‘others-awareness’. I loved the course. May be such a course should be prescribed for would-be public leaders in Nigeria. And @PeterObi should teach the course. The failure of self-discipline is at the heart of failure of public leadership. He who cannot lead himself cannot lead others. The undisciplined leader would be susceptible to many errors and slippages that will ruin the commonwealth. Good ideas will fail at his hands because there will be no disciplined execution. I wonder at Peter Obi’s impeccable attention to details; his meticulous filling of things both in the brain and in boxes; and his gritty and rational control of every action and reaction. No wonder he has been successful in everything, yes everything he has done. Even if you wont vote for him, just learn from him. “Seeth thou a man diligent in his business, he will stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men” (Proverbs 22: 29 KJV)

If Nigerians failed to protest for the release of almost 200 innocent people who were kidnapped in Kwara State by an armed terrorist and kidnapping group. This suggests that, in general, Nigerians have been defeated. Innocent lives seem to have become meaningless to many Nigerians. If a country reaches a stage where people no longer care about human life, it means we have all failed. I am calling on @VDM, @sowore, @mamap, and @randyPeter to put aside any grievances and unite to demand that the government do the right thing. We must all push for the release of those being held captive by terrorists in Kwara State.

"I am stronger now than I was in 2023 and I have data and credible polling that there's no pathway for APC to win in Lagos but if they decide to go the way of 2023 in 2027, I'm prepared to meet them where they left me. The allegation that I played the ethnic card is a nonsensical statement and a distraction from what is going on in Lagos. My family doesn't have a question mark or controversy around us. We are proud Lagosian.” - Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, ADC Member and former Governorship Candidate for Lagos under (LP)

Poverty in Nigeria rose to 63 per cent in 2025, despite a slowdown in inflation, indicating the limited impact of recent macroeconomic improvements on household welfare, the World Bank has said. The bank disclosed this in its Nigeria Development Update (April 2026) titled “Nigeria’s Tomorrow Must Start Today: The Case for Early Childhood Development,” released in Abuja on Tuesday. Data presented in the report showed that the share of Nigerians living below the poverty line increased from 56 per cent in 2023 to 61 per cent in 2024, before peaking at 63 per cent in 2025.
