People dislike #windows because they use it at work where it's loaded up with corp spyware (aka "device mgmt") and work inhibitors (aka "productivity apps") from 1987. My personal Win 10 laptop works flawlessly and Ubuntu 20.04 in WSL is charming.

@ghohpe Ah! It's an option, but also another device. I have so many already 😀 I use to have something like that might as well have a VM in the "clouds" to use when I need.

@grantshapps It's like banishing arrivals from the UK if a new variant is found in India due to the strong travel links to India (and many other countries, actually). I understand the concern but the rational is flawed.
