This miscast of Snape in Harry Potter is a good example of race swapping changing an entire story. If Snape is Black, despite books saying he’s White, then Harry is now suspicious that the only Black teacher at Hogwarts is stealing and his Dad bullied a Black kid by hanging him. This seems like a major story change to introduce the idea of racism, and it strays from the source material. 🥴

He leído su historia y me parece una barbaridad que esto esté pasando en España. En 2022 sufrió una violación múltiple en un centro tutelado. Tras intentar quitarse la vida, quedó parapléjica. Ahora, el sistema le da luz verde para morir en vez de garantizarle apoyo, tratamiento y dignidad para vivir. En 24 horas, Noelia será la primera persona en recibir la eutanasia por depresión en España. Esto también es un fracaso colectivo.

🚨 🚨 Shiloh Hendrix update 🚨 🚨
One count of disorderly conduct has been dropped at today’s court hearing!!
In the hearing, Shiloh’s attorney Brian Karalus conceded the incident happened and that Hendrix used a slur toward a Black child. However, he argued that speech is protected under the First Amendment.
He also contended that the speech does not meet the legal definition of “fighting words” meant to incite immediate violence. Instead, he described Hendrix’s words as reactionary.
“A kid, the color of his skin was black, stole something from her,” Karalus said.
He argued that the act of filming her in the aftermath was more provocative than her own actions, comparing it to people filming immigration officials with the intent to provoke.
“Someone filming someone with their camera is closer to disorderly conduct versus the use of off-color speech,” he said.
