AI data centers can use up to five million gallons of water each day. Am I the only one concerned about how this could pose a serious threat to our farmers and our food supply? What happens when these centers seriously strain our aquifers and dry up irrigation systems? Is it really worth it?

I can't disagree with any of that. Yet just yesterday, Chris Christie (of all people, semi-disgraced Governor of NJ * ) said the following: "Donald Trump is insane. ACTUALLY, I repeat - NUTS! This is nearly verbatim: "He believes that even if something is definitely untrue, and you'd like it to be true - all you have to do is keep telling yourself it's true... and it WILL be true... actually true." And he wants very dearly to for YOU and everybody else to believe whatever HE believes. (Because he's... NUTS!) And if you don't believe -everything, that is - then YOUR NAME will be on a list or some lists somewhere in a restricted cloud, or maybe NOT restricted. What gets done with people whose names get on lists? What fun! This perspective on life, held by any rando-person let alone a President of the United States is um... questionable? Might we even say - dangerous? (So, OK, those Christie quotes are paraphrases... but they're excellent paraphrases. What he actually said was that Donald Trump was a shameless megalomaniac. THAT'S certainly one form of insanity.) * I hate to admit: my home State elected him 2x.

That's like saying that if people REALLY cared about air quality, they'd all ditch their ICE-based vehicles & switch to EVs, bike, walk, or skateboard & cut off all fossil fuel supplied electricity to their homes. Problems like these have to be addressed at a systemic level.
