@ExhaustedPrePA I didn’t apply until July because I waited for my GRE scores to come back! I had all of the rest of my app stuff ready to go though so I sent out as soon as I got my scores

@tiredandtachy When I give constructive criticism to staff I always try to pair it with acknowledgement of something positive that they’re doing. If it’s a bullying behavior or something completely inappropriate that’s the only time I’ll be completely blunt with communication of why it’s wrong

anyone have advice or resources for communication in a leadership role? i am naturally non-confrontational and fairly passive so i really struggle with correcting staff behavior/having conversations that might upset people when i’m charge due to fear of their reaction… help? 🙃

@malahadzinica If you can get ahold of MGMA salary report I’ve found it carries more weight than MGMA. The other thing you can do is come to the table with another offer although you kind of have to be willing to jump if they don’t budge at that point
