We're building the universal CLI layer for AI agents. MCP servers. Custom scripts. One shell. If you like this project support us → github.com/JustVugg/cli-u… Let's turn every tool into a command, together. #MCP #OpenSource #CLI

@Cryptinflux @maajid0x Have you tried cli-use? Do you have any suggestions for making it better or anything else?

A new BIG update for cli-use: 1) Added a TUI to make it easier to use. 2)Now you can discover server mcp using glama and install it and using it with cli-use. We're building the universal CLI layer for AI agents. github.com/JustVugg/cli-u… #OpenSource #MCP #DevTools

@maajid0x We welcome suggestions for further improvement! cli-use's mission is to become the standard cli for any mcp server!

@justvugg Universal CLI for agents is the right direction, but the hard part is the boring stuff around auth, install, and flaky tool interfaces. If cli-use makes MCP servers feel dependable from the terminal, that’s the wedge.

@pdfnative Make it a cli with gutenberg-cli and I'll add it to the library! Do a pull if you're interested!

@justvugg pdfnative-mcp is another good addition to the MCP ecosystem - lightweight zero-deps server for proper PDF generation. Feel free to test, feedbacks are welcome pdfnative.dev

@localmodelbench @tobi @ollama I'm still using it and it's really interesting. If you try it, I'm available for any improvements and suggestions.

@justvugg @tobi @ollama This is the direction I would test hardest: not just whether the planner can write steps, but whether the workers preserve file state, avoid touching protected inputs, and finish with a checkable artifact.

I’ve had very good results running autoresearch with local qwen 3.6 26b model as long as I had a simple vibed pi “advisor” extension that allowed it to periodically ask GPT 5.5 for ideas. I think this direction has a lot of merit.

Lawyers are tired of overpaying for legal software. Judicex is an open-source legal workspace running with grounded drafting, verifiable answers, and strict no-hallucination rules. Early stage,a lot of work to do but promising. github.com/JustVugg/judic… #opensource #legaltech

Most legal AI tools are closed and expensive. Judicex is an open-source workspace with grounded chat, matter management and drafting based on your files. Not just another chatbot. A practical tool for real legal work. github.com/JustVugg/judic… #OpenSource #LegalTech

Most agent tools are hand-written glue. Gutenberg CLI generates tool surface from API specs or captures: CLI + MCP + skills + cache + policy + proofs. Not just “generate code”. Generate tools agents can actually use. github.com/JustVugg/guten… #OpenSource #MCP #DevTools

mcporter 0.11.0 is live I use mcporter mainly as more stable browser automation cli these days and for agents to test MCPs without having to restart. I do love that code mode is slowly being adopted by harnesses so this will be less needed. github.com/openclaw/mcpor…

Every protocol gets a universal client. HTTP → curl Kubernetes API → kubectl Docker daemon → docker MCP → cli-use cli-use makes MCP servers terminal-native: scriptable, composable, and easy to integrate into existing workflows. github.com/JustVugg/cli-u… #MCP #CLI #OpenSource

@justvugg The MCP → CLI conversion is useful but loses one of MCPs advantages: the model picks the tool. Surfacing as raw CLI flags moves the decision back to the human typing the command. Good for ops scripting, weaker for agent loops. Two valid layers for two different jobs.

Tired of JSON-RPC bloat with MCP? cli-use turns any MCP server into a real CLI instantly. cli-use add fs /tmp cli-use fs list_directory --path . Create CLIs with us too. Native pipes, <10ms daemon, 60-80% fewer tokens. github.com/JustVugg/cli-u… #MCP #AIagents #CLI

@bettercallsalva Fair point. MCP gives models native tool discovery/calling. cli-use turns tools into simple CLIs + SKILL.md instructions, which saves tokens and often feels more reliable for coding agents. You lose some dynamic tool selection, they solve different problems well.
