@FinanceLancelot Bitcoin’s usefulness isn’t theoretical, rather it’s experiential. If you haven’t used it, you’re missing the context needed to judge it or advise others on it.

The Final Countdown: 417 Days Until Financial Freedom Is Systematically Dismantled. On January 1, 2027, the European Union enacts its financial endgame. The new AML Regulation imposes a €10,000 cash payment limit and annihilates anonymous cryptocurrency accounts. This is the cornerstone of a fully traceable economic prison. The digital euro, targeting 2029, will complete this architecture with proposed holding caps of €3,000 to €4,000. Your capacity to save and transact will be programmably controlled. The market has screamed the truth. Privacy coins are exploding. Zcash: +60%. Monero: +25%. A collective market cap soaring to $41.7 billion. This is a capital flight of historic proportion. A rational exodus from transparency into sovereignty. The transatlantic schism is clear. The United States pursues regulatory clarity with the GENIUS and CLARITY Acts. Europe chooses control. The global trend, however, is inexorable: the death of monetary privacy. The implication is a fundamental rupture. We are witnessing the forced migration of the €20 trillion Eurozone economy into digitized, transparent channels. The informal sector, 15% of EU GDP, faces oblivion. The consequence is a projected 20-50% surge in alternative financial networks. A Fermi estimated €500 billion shadow economy seeking darker channels. You have 417 days. The choice is binary. Acquiesce to the gilded cage of centralized digital currency. Or pivot to the sovereign vaults of cryptographic privacy. This is the great divergence. The war for your financial soul is now declared. Monitor the ECB's 2026 cap decision. Watch the US Senate. Your liberty is the final frontier.

You can tell Bitcoin is destined to fail by how obsessed its community is with the price rather than any real utility. It’s been over 16 years, and still, nobody uses it for anything meaningful. Bitcoin serves no practical purpose beyond speculative gambling. Compare that to the stock market, while often overvalued (now) as well, stock prices at least reflect companies that produce goods, services, and real value. The same applies to gold, which is used in millions of technologies and holds proven store-of-value properties, as well as silver, oil, and other assets with tangible utility. Bitcoin’s “value” rests on three pillars: Tether-driven price manipulation, retail speculation and FOMO, and the greater fool theory. None of these are sustainable, and all will erode over time. One day, people will look back on Bitcoin as a fascinating case study in how emotion (greed and fear) can completely override logic. It’s honestly spectacular to witness.

@ecb Extending the “benefits of cash” requires preserving what makes cash free — privacy, autonomy, and self-custody. Without those, the digital euro risks undermining Articles 12 & 17 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Digital money should serve people, not monitor them.

The digital euro would complement banknotes and extend the benefits of cash to the digital sphere. This is important because euro cash brings us together. Europeans would have the freedom to use the digital euro for any digital payment, online or offline, throughout the euro area.

@GovofCO Canada’s tariffs against the U.S. in 2024 included high rates on dairy (e.g., 241%-270% on milk, ~289%-298% on butter, ~245%-250% on cheese), poultry (238% on chicken), and eggs (~163%)

THIS IS MASSIVE. Portugal has cancelled the order for F-35s from the US and will replace their F-16s with European fighters. “We have to be able to count on the predictability of our allies, which is no longer the case with the United States."

So, Thomas Massie on his official government X account, unprovoked, attacked me claiming I was paid for my political opinions, I lost 10k follower that day. He had the DeSimps investigated me for days. He even said FAFO. Then, after he couldn’t find anything, because he’s a liar and I’ve never taken a dime on X for my political tweets -never admitted he was wrong and never apologized for his slander, just dropped the subject. So please save your breath about how he’s this big honorable icon. I’ve experienced first hand what a lying scumbag he is.

@wlw_wlw55 @LibertyCappy If Musk had a billion robot slaves there would be no UBI because humans who weren't adding to his wealth would serve no purpose for him. He would have them eliminated like rodent pests.

Elon plans to build at least a billion of robots. AI + robots + automation will replace 80% of human jobs. Musk is very frank about this. For those unqualified/unlucky there suppose to be an Universal Basic Income (UBI). The thing is we don't really know what kind of new jobs AI will open up for people ? The biggest uncertainty in Musk’s vision is what new jobs AI and robotics might create. Historically, technological revolutions have destroyed some jobs while creating others—think of the Industrial Revolution, which eliminated manual weaving but gave rise to factory work, engineering, and eventually the tech sector. However, AI’s potential to automate both physical and cognitive tasks makes this transition unique. AI Development and Maintenance: AI Trainers and Data Labelers: Humans will be needed to train AI models, especially in early stages, by labeling data or providing feedback. For example, companies like Scale AI currently employ thousands of people to annotate data for machine learning. AI Ethicists and Auditors: As AI systems become more pervasive, there will be a need for professionals to ensure they are fair, unbiased, and safe. This includes roles in AI governance, regulation, and compliance. Robot Technicians: A billion robots will require maintenance, repair, and programming. Technicians skilled in robotics, mechatronics, and software could find new opportunities. Human-Centric Roles: Creative and Emotional Work: Jobs that require uniquely human traits—like empathy, emotional intelligence, and creativity—may persist. Examples include therapists, educators (especially in early childhood), and artists who focus on human expression. Experience Designers: As AI handles routine tasks, humans might focus on creating meaningful experiences, such as immersive entertainment, virtual reality worlds, or personalised education programs. Sustainability and Exploration: Space and Planetary Jobs: Musk’s ambitions with SpaceX (e.g., colonising Mars) could create roles in space agriculture, habitat design, and extraterrestrial resource extraction. For example, managing a billion robots on Mars to build infrastructure would require human oversight. Green Tech Roles: AI-driven sustainability efforts, such as optimising energy grids or managing reforestation, could lead to jobs in environmental monitoring, climate tech, and renewable energy systems. New Industries We Can’t Yet Predict: Just as the internet created unforeseen roles like “social media influencer,” AI might spawn entirely new industries. For example, the rise of virtual economies in the metaverse could lead to jobs in digital asset creation, virtual event planning, or AI-driven behavioural analysis.

@msAmarga @GuntherEagleman What has Europe done? Either you are ignorant, or you have zero knowledge about the macroeconomic benefits of having influence over what happens there. Simple minds see simple problems. No NATO, no influence. No influence, runaway growth in Europe which will weaken US.

@ronrule @mike_stl @ColinDMello Most of what you quote there are over-quota tariffs. Besides, it’s a trade deal signed by both parties. If it needs to be renegotiated fine, but threatening annexation because you feel that you’re paying too much is bush league diplomacy.
