@UPS continues to prove why it’s the most unreliable shipping company I deal with. First they lost my Apple Vision Pro shipment entirely. Now the replacement optical inserts have been sitting in UPS Worldport in Louisville for nearly a week because UPS claims the international paperwork was missing. The sender? @Apple. A company that ships thousands of international packages every day. UPS never contacted me. Never contacted the shipper. The package just sat there. I finally had to call them myself, track down the issue, and send the invoice to UPS so they could provide the paperwork they supposedly didn’t have. Even after receiving it, the shipment is still sitting there waiting for customs clearance. This is not a one-off mistake. It’s a pattern. Every time I have a shipment routed through UPS there’s another problem. At this point it’s hard not to conclude that UPS’s international logistics operation is simply broken. If a company as sophisticated as Apple can’t get a package through their system without delays and lost documentation, what chance does anyone else have?

After giving me multiple conflicting explanations about where my @Nomaticgear suitcase actually is, @FedExHelp has now closed the conversation by giving me a support ticket number and telling me to “monitor for updates.” No confirmation that anyone is physically searching for the package. No explanation for why it was scanned “On Vehicle for Delivery” yesterday at 6:10am and never showed up. No acknowledgment of the contradictory info they gave me. Just a ticket number and a polite “we’re done here.” This is the third time this year FedEx has lost or misdelivered high-value equipment for my business. At this point, all I want is accountability and a delivery process that matches the scans they expect customers to trust.

I’m honestly exhausted with @FedEx and the constant excuses. My new @Nomaticgear suitcase was scanned “On FedEx vehicle for delivery” at 6:10am YESTERDAY. I stayed home all day because package theft is a real problem where I live. It never showed up. No scans, no update, nothing. FedEx’s response today? “Sorry, we can’t open a trace because the package is still within the committed delivery window.” What good is a “committed delivery date” when your system already told me it was literally on the truck yesterday? That policy has nothing to do with losing a package that was supposedly out for delivery. This isn’t a one-off either. FedEx has lost or misdelivered multiple high-value pieces of gear for my business this year, and I’m tired of getting copy-and-paste replies that ignore the actual issue. Nomatic, I’m reaching out to you directly because FedEx is giving me the runaround again and I’d like your help resolving this. I just want the product I paid for — and delivery scans that actually mean something.

Quick update on my missing @Nomaticgear suitcase: After telling me yesterday it was “On FedEx vehicle for delivery” at 6:10am, @FedExHelp is now saying the package is actually still “in their facility,” wasn’t put on the truck yesterday, wasn’t put on the truck today, but also somehow “isn’t lost.” So according to FedEx, a package can be: — scanned onto a truck — never delivered — never scanned again — not put on a truck the next day — sitting in a facility the whole time — and still “not lost” This isn’t a delay. This is a contradiction. I’ve had multiple high-value business shipments disappear in FedEx’s system this year, and the copy-and-paste responses aren’t cutting it. I’ve already reached out to Nomatic directly because at least they take customer service seriously. All I want is honesty and a package that doesn’t teleport between trucks, trailers, and facilities depending on which script FedEx is reading from.

Running a small business is tough. It’s even tougher when @FedEx loses your expensive equipment… EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. YOU. ORDER. SOMETHING. Seriously. I can’t remember a SINGLE package that I’ve ordered for my business that hasn’t been delayed or flat out lost.

As a full time photographer that recently switched to @Apple to take advantage of the ecosystem, I’ve been looking into a great storage ecosystem that compliments my on the go workflow. I’m intrigued by the @SanDisk Pro-Blade system but wished the transport had a thunderbolt option. Anyone out there have any insight on this system?

The @BlueAngels always put on the best show in the air! With the exception of my military deployments while on active duty, I have seen them almost every year since 1979.
