Every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces has a dedicated Secretary overseeing operations and representing the branch EXCEPT our U.S. Coast Guard. @SenTuberville, @SenDanSullivan, and I introduced a bill creating a Secretary of the Coast Guard. Our Coasties do incredible work keeping our nation safe from threats and they deserve the same leadership that every other branch has to ensure readiness. 🇺🇸

Lindsey Graham was very clear-eyed about the threat Vladimir Putin created for the United States. That’s why Senator Grahm championed this bipartisan Russian Sanctions Bill. This bill would put additional sanctions on Putin, the oligarchs, businesspeople in Russia, banks, the shadow fleet.
