@DWytte Both, actually. I have several original works I've been writing on and off. But I also have a lot of fanfics, and they're just lying unfinished now, and it eats at me a lot because I don't plan to post multi-chapter fics without prewriting them first. 😔

if you update slowly, readers leave. if you update fast, it’s ai. grammar mistakes? people lecture you. almost no mistakes or no mistakes at all? ai. long sentences? bad writing. short ones? also ai. you literally can’t win

everything else aside, this is quite possibly the most misguided way to judge whether something was written by an AI or not, because it's not like authors start writing their fic the day they publish the first chapter
