Trump, who sued the Journal over this story, is expected to present the reporters with the award.

Here’s why they are full of shit: ***1) How the Rule Works:*** Section 315(a) applies to “use” of network with four core exemptions: * Bona fide news coverage * Bona fide news interviews * Bona fide documentaries * On the spot news coverage **2) Interviews on Late Night are Exempt:*** Under the FCC’s own guidelines a late night talk show like “The Late Show” counts as a bona fide interview so long as the segment is an interview - because it meets the “independent editorial standard” If they had Talarico on to do a skit or a game show then that triggers equal time. ***3) Time is not automatic nor mandatory:*** Equal time does not mean a candidate *must* get that time, only that the must get it if they request it within 7 days of the other candidates appearance. ***4) Doesn’t Apply to Republicans During Primary:*** Because this is during a primary, the equal time clause would only apply to Jasmine Crockett, not to Republicans. This was a decision by Bari Weiss and pressure from the FCC. This is political censorship. That is absolutely amazing news. My family had been deeply involved in scouting and my two sons are both Eagle Scouts. It was very very painful to see what happened to the BSA as they went off the rails. I severed all relationship with this new org. I am hopeful this can be a catalyst to bring them back to the great organization they once were. I know lots of people will come back

Parts of the org were co-ed when I got my Eagle in the 80s, and I am disappointed at the reaction to opening it up to all.
