@jess_ann_pin @MichaelAArouet Trump is considered a far right neo Nazi fascist, and he basically runs the same platform Obama did. Leftist have become far more extreme overall, and more women being leftists mean they are extreme.

This is a misrepresentation. The data only shows that more young women identify as liberal than in the past. That does not mean that individual liberal women are becoming more liberal or even that women have changed their views. The reason more young women identify as liberal is because conservatives have been seriously threatening women’s rights. The open threats to women’s rights are why more young women, who have the most to lose from abortion bans for example, identify as liberal. This should not be hard to figure out.

That's an interesting chart. Young men have stayed similarly conservative for over 25 years, while young women have drifted much further left. Why such a divergence? What has changed for young women that hasn't changed for young men?

The Left's theory of America's marriage divide: it's all class, esp. ways that less-educated men, as @mattyglesias puts it, lack "the sort of financial and emotional stability that make them attractive long-term partners."

Imagine there's a button that says "EVERYONE THAT PRESSES THIS BUTTON LIVES", and you just...don't push it. You press the other one, thinking that "hey, if me and other idiots press that one...we all live!" That's democracy. A bunch of idiots choosing death for no reason.

@ChibiReviews But those blue guys under the crusher are overwhelmingly people you want in society. Letting them die is a huge loss to you. While the first blue voters are illogical, once a certain amount of blue voters are forecasted, voting blue becomes the logical choice for your own sake.

@__K8r @NapoleonBonabot Children are not as retarded as you make them out to be. Ask a classroom of children if they would rather pick red and get a candy bar or blue and get nothing unless half the class picks blue. Every kid is picking red.

because a lot of people are thinking about babies and children that cannot make well thought out decisions. and to innocent children blue does sound better. so save the children. if you're in a room of a thousand well-educated analytically thinking people yeah you should probably press red but there's so much variance in the world and most people at the bottom rung society are taught this religion of being good and not selfish

@NathanFrancisIQ @Suchan_Arc The original scenario is, "pick red and live, pick blue and die unless 50% also pick blue". There is no need to reframe it. Don't use kids as an argument either. Tell a class of kids that they can get a candy bar for red, or they get nothing unless 50% pick blue. All pick red.

@Degiance @LumLotus No, he did fuck up. By responding to the debate in the first place, he allowed people to coordinate and discuss, which is against the original premise. The premise was a private vote that you CANBIT coordinate period. People coordinated blue, thus ruining the experiment.

A bunch of irrationals are blaming red for this one. They are making up the idea that because someone picks red they are killing everyone who picks blue. Red is not Blue's keeper. Nobody is responsible for your choices. Picking blue is the most morally taxing pick.

New point that doesn't make sense from Blue. I still don't understand how it's "Red's fault" for Blue's irrational actions.

@OliApplin @RandomPe0n @Otome_chan311 The point is the original requires >50% blue period. Abstaining in the original would still require 51 blue. Further, no one knows what the vote is at. If there is a flaw in the original, it's that it was posted on X for people to discuss and look at others before answering.

@k4tarn @RandomPe0n @Otome_chan311 It totally matters. If 78 people voted red, there is only 22 votes left for blue, they already can't make it to 50%, they will all die. If 52 people voted red, blue can only get to 48% max, they are again already condemned.

@RandomPe0n @Otome_chan311 @OliApplin Your scenario is disingenuous. There is no adding people and the vote occurs at the same time. If the total population is 100, it doesn't matter if 5, 37, 52, or 78 people vote red, blue still needs at least 51 to survive.

@Otome_chan311 @OliApplin Yes, exactly! My alt scenario is just rhetoric to show that the original’s red is deadly to blue because it forces the option of not standing with blue to stand in direct opposition to it.

@OliApplin @Otome_chan311 No you dumb fuck. The question is everyone period. There is no, "if more vote red more have to vote blue". If 100 people are in the experiment, blue always needs 51 votes. If people abstain and blue doesn't get 51 votes, blue still dies.

@Otome_chan311 No, reds usually fail to understand that their own actions have consequences on others. I can't count the number of people I've interacted with that didn't understand that pressing red increases the chances of blues of dying.

@BartSimpson9021 @bumbadum14 Male sexuality IS policed. That's the past 25 years of "don't approach us ever" resulting in the "why does no one approach me" stage we're in now. Women, in the same time frame, have been told to slut it out and that they're being tricked and abused if they marry before 30.

@bumbadum14 How exactly is a woman supposed to know if a guy is a "manwhore"? Anyway, this is why, if you want an actual "trad" society (female chastity, low divorce, high marriage rate, high fertility rate, etc.), you're going to have to start policing male sexuality once again.

It’s 100% true that men know whether they want to date/marry a girl very early. It’s also 100% true that a man will keep a non-prospect girl in the fuck zone if she puts out too early. Most of this is entirely dependent on the selection bias of the woman. If you choose a manwhore then you’re going to be used by a manwhore.

@KAD_ProductionZ I don't think this confuses anything. Saiyan saga vegeta (PL 18000) had no trouble against kaioken Goku (PL 16000). Vegeta had no trouble with a Goku equal to 89% of his power. Say Goku and Vegeta are about a 9 now. That means Beerus should still dominate them.

the funniest thing about this is that this is the definition of both sides Godku's power was that high and powerful pushing Beerus to use nearly his 70% OR The G.o.D. and angels were weak af back then lmao Its funny how the BoG movie has the most direct descriptive scale of every character, and Toriyama giving his rough estimates of it.

@Leaflit its so easy to just be like "abortion is bad" when you handwave all of the nuance, like rape and incest and complications that risk the life of the mother and the fact that if you ban them people will seek them in other ways. same logic applies to drug safe areas/SCSs.
