Unpopular opinion: Day trading isn't the fast track to wealth everyone makes it out to be. It's high stress, high risk, and not for everyone.

Not that anyone cares 😂 but I’ve finally reached a super consistent flow with my trading. No stress. I execute on my edge. It allows me financial freedom and freedom of choice in my daily life. I began learning about futures in 2021. Took me 5 years but we did it 🥰

@Mr_Derivatives @MarketMike That was to get more followers. But he took 1-4 hour trends like it was the god given signal. It worked until it didn’t work. Imagine yourself letting it ride on a blackjack table and winning 7 times in a row - then calling yourself a good blackjack player

I saw this account all over my For You page last week. John even blindly promoted him as a good trader and that people should follow him Everything I saw was sloppy, erratic, and a pure gamble. Everyone can have a nice run, that doesn’t matter. This game is forever; the only thing that matters is protecting and growing your capital. I hope he doesn’t go on full tilt, keeps some of that money, and just gets a good refresh before trying to come back.

@MarketMike I agree. All I saw were bear and bull flags. I don’t wish a big loss on anyone. It’ll f with your mental state. Hope he’s alright - hard lesson learned.

@lindsaybitcoin Newer cars (bought w/ debt) + bigger house the likely culprits among my friend group unfortunately. And they’re all slaves to their corporate jobs that they hate. Not everyone in corporate America hates their job, but it’s sad how many do and have a dream unfulfilled elsewhere.

The harsh truth is that most people won’t get wealthy because when they find out what it takes to accomplish real wealth, they don’t want to do it

The scariest part about becoming a full-time trader isn’t losing money… It’s the thought of ever having to go back to a normal job. Once you experience the freedom, there’s no going back.

I’m so out of touch and naïve to the fact that not everyone has a personal trading account. For me it’s an automatic must have.
