@mrithulaM Bank has the final say.. the bank will officially ask the merchant whether they can refund and they will say sorry I sent the OTP and it’s verified. Now the bank (hdfc) has to eat the loss. Unfortunately the OTP was shared there is nothing legally we can say(as it’s a scam) 2/n

@mrithulaM There is no direct answer here, it depends, let’s look at this: 1) Account type is important (credit account has higher chance than debit or prepaid) 2) how soon did they raise the complaint? 3) is this the first time or has it happened already ? And so on Bank has the 1/n
