Today in Doha, President Kagame met with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani @TamimBinHamad, Amir of the State of Qatar, during his one-day working visit to Qatar.
His Highness welcomed President Kagame at the Amiri Diwan, where the two leaders discussed the strong brotherly relations between Rwanda and Qatar, as well as the continued cooperation between the two countries across key sectors of mutual benefit.
President Kagame and His Highness Sheikh Tamim also exchanged views on regional developments and current international affairs, reaffirming their shared commitment to promoting international peace and security. President Kagame expressed Rwanda’s solidarity and continued support for the people of Qatar.

DRC 🇨🇩 However some people are trying to sanitize the Congolese regime in place… Tshisekedi @Presidence_RDC doesn’t hide he is still in bed with the genocidal armed group, FDLR… he even tries to “bring in” the son of former president Habyarimana to play a “political” role as “opposition” against Rwanda. And that is his modus operandi all the time. He has signed multiple “agreements” but never honored a single one of them. The EAC told him to negotiate with his fellow Congolese AFCM23… he didn’t The SADC told him the same, he didn’t. In Washington he signed, didn’t implement. FDLR is there and deeper embedded than before. Doha he signed with AFCM23, he still hasn’t honored his commitments. He had signed agreements with his “political allies” like Vital Kamerhe or Bemba… never honored as he wants to run for a third term - and therefore change the Constitution. And these are only the few commitments he signed for. He is not anyone who honors his commitments… These are facts. Anyone signing anything with him needs to be aware of it. He’s driving the DRC in a wild race to destruction.
