$MIGI sell off today because market want an AI/HPC pivot now (??) Here's the reality check: No hyperscaler signs a contract with a financially distressed micro-cap. Period. You need cash flow. You need a clean balance sheet. You need credibility. This company was staring at bankruptcy not long ago. New mgmt isn't pivoting on day 21 because they can't - they're building the foundation first. And they said it themselves in the PR: "...incremental free cashflow will be used to improve existing assets, build out new assets, and build a secure foundation" Step 1 before Step 5 - and this is an very important step. $BGDE
El Gato Capital@ElGatoPartners

Things are heating up - 21 days after Endeavor reconstituted the board, new mgmt has already filled 75MW of idle capacity. Structure: • Endeavor buys 25,000 miners • BGDE keeps 100% of the cash • Insiders paid in stock + warrants • Zero capex, zero liabilities for the company [!] Mgmt only wins if the stock re-rates (!) That is what alignment looks like. $MIGI $BGDE

Someone say a prayer for this guy He bought 1.8% of ASTEROID 2 months ago, held for 60 days, just to sell for a loss one day before Elon started shilling. His $550 would now be worth $2.9M 😭

$MIGI - The Vertua case for 120MW lease, wrongfully terminated according to Mawson. James Manning is the founder and former CEO of Mawson, he is also with Vertua, the landlord who terminated Mawsons lease at the Sharon site back in 2024. Bitfarms took over the lease, site, and 12MWs Mawson had built. Bitfarms monetized the site, expanded and later bought the site. Manning was part of the involuntary bankruptcy case against Mawson, judge ruled in Mawsons favour. Now we're waiting for the outcome in the Mawson Vs Manning/Vertua case. Mawson want the lease reinstated or compensation for lost revenue. Mawsons terminated lease was five years, optionality for five more. Now that bitfarms monetized the site, judges will look at how much money bitfarms made. If Mawson wins, either they get the lease back but more likely paid for damages and lost revenue. James Manning is a bitch. mawsoninc.com/mawson-infrast… theenergymag.com/news/2024-06-1…

$MIGI Three near term rerating possibilities: 153MW Is what Mawson have. Succesful AI/HPC pivot could rerate and price their megawatts in millions, not thousands. +100MW in a potential merger with Big Digital. +120MW should they reclaim the lease from vertua in a full win. Will probably result in settlements for lost revenue since Bitfarm already utilised the site fully. That's potential for +370MW already on the PJM grid in a $13M market cap. $700M mkt cap here we come?🫠

I don't feel stuck, sucks to see it bleed, but that's how it is with low float pennystocks. Since there's no institutional money in this, it's retail selling. Everyone's panicking atm, macro (Trump) isn't helping. But story and what Mawson got going is improving week by week, quarter by quarter.. If they merge.. Replace people on the board.. If they win the vertua case, even a small win for damages.. To much potential upside for me to drop it. Didn't know about the vertua case until this week. Got me even more hyped since Mawson already won the involuntary bankruptcy case Vs Manning, and he's got influence over Vertua. Looks like Manning did everything he could to bury Mawson. Endeavor with $5M at stake, forcing change and the potential for merger. Assymetric to say the least.

@TechLayoffLover Wild to see how much hiring has shifted in just a couple of years. The automation layer is filtering out so many great candidates before humans even look. Kind of ironic that the systems built to “save time” are now slowing the whole process down.

Recruiting friend just sent me the December numbers 3,847 applications for a single Senior React position. Auto-screening AI rejected 3,651 before human eyes saw them Keywords didn't match. Wrong format detected. Experience parsing failed. Straight to digital trash. Same role would get 200 applications two years ago. Maybe 300 if remote. Now the AI screener is trained on profiles of people who lasted 18+ months pre-pandemic. Anyone who job hopped during ZIRP automatically flagged as "high churn risk" The 196 humans who made it past the bot? - 67 had their current job eliminated in the last 6 months - 34 are currently employed but know their team is getting cut Q1 - 89 are new grads with side projects that would've gotten them hired in 2021 Internal recruiting dashboard shows average time-to-fill went from 42 days to 127 days because nobody wants to make a hiring mistake in this market Hiring managers asking for "AI proficiency" but can't define what that means. Just know they need fewer people who can do more things. Recruiters spending 80% of their time managing the rejection pipeline. Templates for "exploring other candidates", "position on hold", "restructuring priorities" One recruiter told me she manually reviewed 50 rejected profiles last week. Found 12 that should've made it through. But the damage is done - those candidates already moved on The LinkedIn posts about "exciting opportunities" and "growing teams"? Same companies that froze headcount in October and haven't hired externally since August.
