@AdvoBarryRoux We have not been paid, and we are still owed 2024 and 2025 allowances. NSFAS is still deducting 5% from the student’s R5200 per month to pay the middleman before paying the landlords. No one’s talking about this 5% that is literally stolen from student’s allowances.

NSFAS Acting CEO, Mr Waseem Carrim, lied at the portfolio committee yesterday when he said they paid all the Accommodation providers, Accommodation providers received the last payment in October. Tomorrow they are set to evict the students if NSFAS doesn’t pay.
