@kaiandryan @TommyLe73651889 @REMASCULATE First movie I saw her in was Halloween 1978 (19 yo). And something about the nose to mouth that's off imo.

It’s really sad what happened to Nike.
They went woke and now they’re broke.
I never see people wearing their shoes at the gym.
They tried to appeal to an imaginary audience that doesn’t exist and then were surpassed by a bunch of other brands.

@RichardMccrar20 @JUN007_ZHENG @AlanRMacLeod I would have agreed two years ago. Now, I meet a wide cross-section of Japanese men, not just the ones who go to language classes.
English

@kaiandryan @JUN007_ZHENG @AlanRMacLeod I spent over 10 years living in Japan, between mainland and Okinawa. Will I say there is no hatred of foreigners? Absolutely not, you will see that in any country. But I very rarely encountered them. Most were very polite and friendly. So no, not 30%. Not even close.

@TheNihonCurrent @harukaawake Absolutely and they always used a wide variety of spices.

@kaiandryan @harukaawake The curry must have been really banging then.....

NEW: San Francisco judge Linda Colfax has released a man who fatally assaulted an 84-year-old because the prison sentence would have a "poor impact" on him.
25-year-old Antoine Watson was granted probation just two months after he was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and assault.
Watson violently assaulted Vicha Ratanapakdee in 2021, which resulted in his death just two days later.
He was acquitted of first-and second-degree murder charges and instead convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
Colfax says Watson being in prison would have a "poor impact" on him and didn't think he should be there because he "expressed remorse," according to the SF Chronicle.
Colfax is accused of hiding details from the jury in an apparent effort to help Watson escape prison time.
Infuriating and evil.

@hanaamurakami We shouldn’t hate current Japanese for the horrible Japanese of the past. Of course, every country has their horrible people, but perhaps not as sadistic as the Japanese.

@AmYisraelChai_X Joe basically has shitty guests. He was lucky to get Douglas Murray.

@nytimes @TheAthletic Three fouls in 13 minutes. Projected over 48 minutes: 11 fouls

From @TheAthletic: The Lakers' win on Wednesday helped reinforce the belief that Bronny James is an NBA player, that their investment in his development was wise. “I’m super proud of him. And he belongs. He belongs,” LeBron James said. nyti.ms/41r9TvM

@paulsaladinomd It’s not against the law to change your mind. Imagine the pain of living with someone who always says, “before, you said, ‘blah blah blah’.”

@UziCryptoo My family is exactly the same. I would never go for it as they would start pushing my buttons.

@hanaamurakami From the countryside. The girls there don’t know how cute they are.

@perseverare1776 I drive in Japan and take a breathalyzer at the beginning and end of my shift. How is that not the norm for USA pilots?
English

This is who was about to fly your family...
Imagine your loved ones boarding a Southwest flight, seated and ready for takeoff... when police pull the **pilot** off the plane and make him do field sobriety tests right there on the jet bridge.
This actually happened.
Bodycam video shows Southwest Captain David Allsop (52) failing multiple sobriety tests before a Savannah-to-Chicago flight. He blamed nicotine gum, admitted to "a few light beers" the night before, had bloodshot eyes, and struggled with the tests.
Passengers were already on board.
Would you have felt safe flying with him?
How many close calls like this never get caught?
Video attached — watch it and tell me your thoughts 👇

@AmericaPapaBear When I was in university, I never locked my dorm room door. one day I came home and there was a 14-year-old girl in the bed. I kicked her out immediately, but sometimes wondered what it would have been like. She had an extremely erotic physique.

@ClownWorld So what is the condition of the clerk now? I’m glad the killer died.

UK male cop explodes in raw fury and beats the living shit out of the Muslim who smashed his female colleague’s nose at Manchester Airport—full savage beatdown, zero hesitation, instant brutal subdue.
That’s how real cops protect their own. No kneeling, no hesitation, just pure justice delivered hard. US police—take notes and do the same. Nice. 👍👍👍

@WallStreetApes Almost completely irrelevant to me as I cook for myself.

“They've all been bought out by private equity firms. If you've noticed, the quality at food chains keeps getting worse while the prices increase. This is why — Private equity has been busy consolidating restaurants to cut labor, install their own operators, extract fees, and maximize profits”
“This is only the tip of the iceberg”

@TheNihonCurrent @harukaawake But I had good Muslim friends back in university. They were serious about economics. And they made the most delicious chicken dishes.
