@catladyactivist People keep sneezing and open mouth wet coughing and then shouting "ALLERGIES" like it's a 'get out of jail free' card. Yet no one seems to be asking where the heck all the interventions and dealing with the allergies are. "So you volunteer to suffer that...why, exactly?"

@catladyactivist Has there been a ban on antihistamines? There are so many pharmaceutical interventions to allergies, and respirators keep pollen from getting into your system in the first place. Choosing to go around like a leaking faucet if it's really allergies feels self-destructive at best.

No doubt there are some "passionate" vegans who'd argue that culling people with allergies, GI issues that make digesting beans excruciating, and other issues is some great good, but maybe make vegan food edible and accessible instead.

@charrlysa protein can easily be accessed from non-animal products though, and for much cheaper 😭 for example you can get more than 16 oz of tofu for <$3, whereas 16 oz of chicken is usually over $3. I’m not sure if you’re saying protein is only in meat or if vegan food isn’t accessible
