@DrBenLovell in 2nd year of overseas fellowship, for the 1st time ever, supervisor asked me about external support structure. I replied, none, always just coped alone, he didn’t judge/tell me I needed help, he asked if itworks for me. I ask my trainees this, opens up issues beyond training

Tips for clinical/educational supervisors for trainee doctors for your induction/start of placement meetings:
Aren’t you sick of the usual ‘nice to meet you, see you in 4 months’ approach? So are trainees!
