I want to tell you all a story about how our Mahadeva casually solves the problems of His sincere devotees. There is this small but very beautiful Shiva temple in my locality. A middle aged lady, a person of very modest means, serves the Lord with sincere devotion. Whatever she does, only the best that she can afford, for Him, nothing less. Someone offered a second hand fridge to the temple and she took umbrage because how can one keep Lord's items in a fridge which has been made impure. So she bought a new one herself. Here is the thing. She has a teenaged daughter. It will immediately strike you that she has to plan for her wedding. But there was an even more urgent need. She had a health problem requiring a surgery which would cost lakhs. So someone asked her why she is spending like this when she needs to take care of her daughter. She nonchalantly replied that the Lord will take care of her. An old lady who was a daily visitor to the temple heard about it. She casually mentioned it to her son who was also a Shiva bhaktan. It immediately struck him that he should fund that girl's surgery. But the lady was hesitant. She didn't know whether it would be appropriate to offer money to someone she was barely acquainted with. The matter ended there, you think? Nah. The Lord will have His way. After a few days, this guy talks to a friend of his who is a fierce Shiva bhaktan. That guy immediately says, boss don't think of anything. Just make the offer to the woman and tell her this is Lord's will. So the old lady approaches the priest and asks him to make the offer to the lady. And of course, she is a Shiv bhakta, so highly dignified and is very hesitant. The priest compels her saying it's coming from the Lord and she should therefore not refuse. And right at that moment, the temple bells rings! What more can the lady say. Deal done! Househelp has two kids going to primary school. Since it's vacation time, a summer school has been opened right inside her working class locality. It is free!! My mother had warned her that it sounds suspicious. So the help checked with the kids after a couple of days what was being taught. Yea, they are being taught about the glory of Jesus and why they should pray to him. She stopped immediately but the children are throwing tantrums to go back because the place also provides free snacks. Outright criminal behavior not to tell the parents that it is a christan summer school. In 2017 I was working with News18 Tamil channel when the news about Anita's demise broke. As head of production, I was against sensationalising her death -- I feared copycat su!¢!des. I was overruled. I remember feeling sad, that a young girl was dragged into a political theatre without knowing what she was getting herself into. The DMK effectively used her death to create a statewide sentiment against @EPSTamilNadu & @narendramodi . Now, 9 years later, public perception has come full circle. People in Kuzhumur village themselves have understood that the DMK used Anita as a political pawn to further their own selfish narratives. Truth has a way of forcing its way out and shining bright.

I don't understand all this noise around TCS Nashik. Film critics from Juhu and Bandra had already declared that The Kerala Story was "propaganda".
