@waynecheung29 At subway stations, I always look back to try to not let people follow behind me through the gate. If I see too many people around, I wait for them to go through. If someone follows me, I stop so that the gate shuts. Fortunately I haven't had anyone making contact like that

4:28pm - What is my definition of "intimate fare tailgating"? It's when a male gets too close to a female, literally body contact front to back, when she taps her Presto Card and goes through the gate. The male made body contact with a female, but she only complained to TTC and did not file a police assault report. I always make sure now no one is behind me when they try to do this to me. It's already happened twice to me. Once by a male and once by a female. I managed to stop a teenager trying to "reverse fare tailgate" me, but managed to stop him because I walked through the gate sideways. His Gypsy mom was so mad she told me to go back to China. I could tell she was a Gypsy by the floor length skirt she wearing. She was probably on the way to work shoplifting and panhandling. 😅

If you’re an Uber driver and your gut is telling you to cancel and drive away, don’t 2nd guess your gut. Just cancel and go. And apologies to all the ladies out there who I know have to deal with some crazy Uber drivers. But I would recommend not saying the “K word” to a male Uber driver before you even get into his car. Also, don’t put your purse on the Uber driver’s arm and start dropping the contents of your purse on him. And yes, Robotaxi fixes all of this. There you are Tesla bulls, are you happy 😂

@Romy_Holland Perhaps undiagnosed neurodivergence, plus being a SAHM with no education and no job? I am probably neurodivergent. But some of the university courses I took, made me look at the meanings in everything. So I try to be selective in what I say, and mindful of my audience.

i understand why ppl do small talk when they are first meeting someone, but why do some ppl do compulsive small talk all the time? my MIL just by default talks nonstop. “do you think all of that will fit in that suitcase? i always check my suitcase, don’t want to be lifting it on the plane. i take it to the gate and check it there. they let you check it for free!” “uber is here! last time i took an uber it was a prius. hard to get ubers at my house, have to call ahead.” “i talked to margaret. did i tell you that? she called me. she’s getting ready to go to the airport. 2pm fight for her. but she’s flying domestic. gets in in the evening.” but like basically nonstop for hours. never anything that needs to be said, always just kinda autobiographical and impossible to respond to with anything other than “mmmm.” it is very much the same as someone following me around with a television playing nonstop ads, but if i don’t kinda pay attention to the ads i am rude. not only can i now not have a normal conversation with my fiancé, i cannot even have interesting thoughts in my own mind.

6:05pm - Unbelievable, a guy complaining about no subway service at Wellesley Station for about 7 minutes. I guess the guy doesn’t take the TTC that often. It is standard procedure whenever there is a security incident at a station, regardless of where it is, that all TTC surface vehicles and trains bypass the station to reduce the chance of the suspect escaping from police. x.com/brandok991/sta…

8:07am - Strange but I heard it. The reason given why the guy cut track power was because he wanted to complain about the unsanitary condition of an elevator. There's not much the cleaners can do if disorderly people are going to pee and 💩 in the elevator at any time. Perhaps, the TTC could locate portable toilets outside or inside certain stations to reduce this disgusting practice from happening so often.

What is wrong with the audio on videos on this site? It's all out of sync, like hearing 2 of the same videos playing several seconds apart.

This is the new Eglinton LRT. The next train times at the stations near me are always wrong. Today, there was no train "now". Then it arrived when it was "2 min" away. If transit bureaucrats can't get small things right, how can they be entrusted with billion-dollar projects?
