To all the 'IT Professionals' who all of a sudden are making all manner of spurious claims that the @MoCDTI through its Agency - @NITAGhana - is acting illegally, please read the National Information Technology Agency Act, 2008 (Act 771), Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772), the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2023 (L.I. 2481) and the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendments) Regulations 2025 (L.I. 2512). The Ministry is simply ENFORCING existing legislation that has been on our books since 2008, 2023 and 2025. The proposed new legislation has NOT even been laid before Parliament. I welcome anyone to point out which specific action of the Agency is NOT backed by a provision under the stated legislation. Here is my own personal experience about agents who exploit players. First of all I have to thank Victor McDonald for the opportunity he gave me to make my dreams come true but it came at a price. He was a well known agent in Nigeria back then and he was in charge of talking players from Nigeria to Veije and Viborg in Denmark. Many people had something to say about Victor McDonald in Nigeria even before his license was suspended by FIFA. The first pay I got from Sölvesborg GIF was paid to him and all he said was don't worry I will give you father the money which he did but not all of it. The exploitation started when I signed for Kalmar FF and at the time I have no knowledge of the rules and regulations with rep contracts. His contact in Sweden was Patrick Mork whom later became my agent after I left Victor McDonald. I always pay Victor from my salary every month and when I found out about it that it's no legal, I called my father and I told him the situation but at that time victor has promised my father that he will help take one of my brother to Sweden so my father convinced me to extend my contract with him on same condition. I wasn't happy about the situation but I had to listen to my father and do what he says. Other bonuses on my contract was also paid to him for the first 2yrs on my contract with Kalmar FF. Kalmar FF wanted to reward me with a new contract but I have to find away to do it since the club have no idea Victor is taking money from me. So victor fulfilled his promise to my dad about my brother and when he got to Sweden I had to wait it out for the rep contract expires before I signed new extension with Kalmar FF. Before I cut him off he was a regular visitor in my house and my father still welcomes him. He just wanted my father to plead with me to extend the contract again but I said No. That's how I ended up with Patrick Mork and we worked together for 7yrs. As a young footballer it is very important to be educated about the rules and regulations and you can find them on the FIFA website this days. True story....
