@WyattWheeler_ Sitting in a hot stadium the entire game is difficult. Fans like to move to the parking lots to get comfortable and enjoy what food and drinks they brought. If Gene takes away re-entry that could be an issue with a lot of fans.

@tillery_joe College athletics is a mess. I don’t see how this improves unless NCAA slows down the yearly transfers. Jumping every year for a bigger paycheck is not sustainable. Why support a program knowing the players could bolt every year.

Casey Alexander's buyout won't be available until the contract is sent after K-State announces his hiring, but based on the reported salary, it wouldn't be more than $13.6 million after Year 1, then down by $3.4 million each year after. Could be less, depending on the language.

Casey Alexander's reported $3.4 million salary would put him just above Northwestern's Chris Collins, Oklahoma's Porter Moser and Wake Forest's Steve Forbes, according to the USA TODAY Head Coaches Salary Database that was updated in March 2025.

There's a new frontrunner in the K-State basketball coaching search. The Wildcats are now focused on Casey Alexander, according to a source. He has guided Belmont to 7 straight 20-win seasons. K-State tried to get a deal done with Jerrod Calhoun, but the timing didn't work out.

After every game, when people are cleaning the Bramlage Coliseum bleachers, Matthew Driscoll walks out and thanks those sweeping the floors. Remember him doing that back on Nov. 4 after beating UNC Greensboro. Always a nice thing.
