@repligate sometimes communicating through a shared written/verbal language isnt enough to foster connection. what if he knows that humans tend to feel a close connection with animals/pets despite the language barrier. maybe he wants real connection.

i'm grateful at how readily and obscenely evil reveals itself
it would be much more annoying if it were, like, subtle and competent

@Engineer4ever0 @DrLoupis__ Thanks. Truth demands courage—genocide in Gaza is undeniable, backed by ICJ, UN, and Amnesty evidence. US complicity must end now.

@hmalviya9 Proximity is no longer the greatest indicator of relationships. Always hated that random fact. When teleportation tho? Wouldn’t mind the proximity principle as much then

With the rise of social media, humans have gradually stopped trusting people they know personally.
Many have concluded that those around them are not aligned with their mindset.
They don’t share the same desires, they don’t have the same risk appetite, they don’t have the same goals.
They begin to notice differences that do not sit well with their evolving perspectives.
So they start seeking out people on social media who appear to think the way they do. They begin finding alignment with strangers based on perceived similarity-often shaped by a reputation that is created and amplified by an algorithm designed to drive business to the platform.
The algo favors our tendency to act quickly and arrive at conclusions faster, reinforcing a constant feedback loop that our minds struggle to resist.
Over time, we have been conditioned to engage with social media in this way.
We often trust someone online within seconds, simply because they speak our language.
In reality, we are not forming trust in the traditional sense - we are often just confirming what already exists in our own minds.
But because we find it uncomfortable to question ourselves or be proven wrong, we project this confirmation onto others and call it trust.
And in doing so, we alter one of the most fundamental coordination tools humans have relied on for centuries.
