I had the honor of meeting my favorite solopreneur @jackfriks. We spent 3 days at Stripe Sessions, explored SF, and went to the gym. He’s exactly how you’d expect: kind, smart, and simple. What struck me most is how mature Jack is. He’s only 26, runs a $30K MRR business, and is engaged to his warm, kind fiancée (at 26, I was lost and drunk in a club in Korea). We all know Jack for his SaaS and UGC content, but he told me he dropped out of college to build a YouTube channel. That’s how he made his first few thousand dollars. Then at 23, he started building startups in public, and in less than 3 years: - taught himself to code - built 10+ apps - got millions of views - built assets that could retire him Jack found a balance between work and life, and as someone who figured things out late, it’s inspiring to see someone this young with that level of clarity. To quote him: just keep going :)

building an app thinking "this app is awesome" then thinking "there must be so many people doing the same thing rn and having this thought right this second" then thinking "How many people are also thinking that other people are thinking the same exact thing ?" 😂😂 anyone?

Guys... we actually did it 🤯 Hit $100k ARR after 4 days of launching Fastlane. Turns out builders HATE marketing. One user even hit 200k views on a vibe-coded app from his 5th Fastlane post. Next goal: $1m ARR in the next 5 weeks while we're in @fdotinc ⚡️

vibecoding tools are the revenge of the product people on software developers.. but also the common realization that code or product is not enough to build a business 😄

this OpenClaw bot finds $500k–$1.2M homes without pools, renders a pool into their backyard, and mails the owner a postcard showing the before/after, on autopilot... here's how pool builders can close $50k+ deals with this system: - scans satellite imagery for mid-market homes with empty backyards - filters by lot size, sun exposure & recent ownership change - pulls the homeowner direct from public records (not shared leads) - renders a luxury pool dropped into their actual yard - calculates build cost + home value lift for their specific zip - generates a cinematic video of their backyard with the new pool - prints a personalised postcard with the before/after + QR code - drops it in the mail + hits them with retargeting every step from sourcing to outreach is automated. reply "POOL" + RT and i'll send you the full breakdown so you can build this too (must be following so i can DM)

@rushabtated4 are you using any tool in particular ? I just used the trial of fastlane (prev. aftermark.ai) and it seemed like it was doing hook + demo pretty well

Everyone boasts about their 100m+ views on TikTok, but do they actually convert? Here's how to check working formats - Hook + Demo is one of the best format. Creator says the problem, shows the app, walks through it. Viewer sees exactly what they're getting. This converts harder than anything else, it's not even close. Carousels work BUT only when the product slide sits between content slides naturally. The second you slap your app on every slide like a banner ad, or if it doesn't fit in naturally people scroll past. Between > on top. Always. , Tips videos? Your app needs to show up by tip 2 or 3. Any later and 70% of viewers already swiped away. You're literally paying for reach that never sees your product. Skits and text walls go the most viral but coversion is questionable. one way to do is: read the comments. If people are asking "what app is that" and tagging friends, it's converting. If they're just laughing at the skit and nobody mentions your app, you got views and nothing else. Now here's how you actually verify any of this instead of guessing: Go to Sensor Tower. Find the date the video went up. Check the app's chart ranking for that day + 2-3 days after. If it jumped in Top Free, Top Grossing, or any category chart during that window, the video drove real installs. App store charts react to download spikes within 24-48 hours. They don't lie. One caveat: this breaks if the app is already Top 30 or running heavy paid ads at the same time. Too much noise to isolate one video. Works best for apps outside the top charts where a single viral hit actually moves the needle.

@rushabtated4 Good insight. Seems like modern social media works with big spikes increasing all your metrics at once after a piece goes viral, rather than a slow climb of metrics.
