Might wanna consider updating the App Store images. At first glance, I don’t really see differences between each screenshot other than higher count numbers and a celebration. If it’s only one screen, ok might be tough. You could also add a history screen with Claude code easy enough (even though you’re in marketing mode 😆) because it shows people their future success state.

I'm done building. For the next 30+ days i'm gonna market the hell out of my 10K Steps app. I need to find out if this is worth anything. And if it's not... then I need to know so I can kill this project. I'm following @jackfriks TT/IG strategy pinned on his profile. I will share everything I learn along the way Let's see!! ✌️

@regyperlera @juliennecooking Am I crazy or is it impossible to search in the Discover tab? That plus filters would be useful in finding recipes to save.

@viewportui Both. Decreasing cost is easy for anyone - cancel a subscription, eat out less, etc. Increasing rev - promotion/salary negotiation, new job, or new biz - is comparatively harder/slower/riskier. But you can only reduce cost so much. No cap on upping rev. Thus more important.

@juicyricardo @johnrushx I like your thought process. “Slavery” could be avoided by time limits to contracts or max earnings (e.g. every $100 invested yields max of $1,000, then contract expires/ownership ends). Just gotta be creative and not view everything through old lens.

People said it looked wrong, but I just compare it to soccer players indeed They said it would end up in some form of slavery Where I think it would work best in is when you dont invest in single individuals but do it kinda like incubators do it but more structured like VC deals in some way But investing in overlapping talent, builds a knowledge base, set of shared resources and could even become a sort of private school for talent As a person you need to do the math carefully but thats in all the industries also. A lot of musicians had themselves being ripped Where it becomes a little more complex legally probably is how to deal with IP where that is more clear for music etc. But there must be ways

Future of Software Companies TLDR: Independant founders will eat the world. • Software creation is expensive. • Developers are costly because they translate English to JavaScript. • LLMs are lowering software creation costs to zero over time. • Lower costs will lead to exponential growth in the quantity of startups. • One-size-fits-all solutions from corporations will be smashed by ultra-niched solutions that focus only on their audience • These founders will be “distributors” first. Their key talent will be distribution and winning the attention of their niche. • Founder-led companies will replace "Brands." The founder = Brand. • We can already see how Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan, MrBeast, and Lex Friedman have stronger distribution than multi-billion corporations. It looks surreal, but it’s facts. • Successful founders of the future won’t be coders-first, just like the new gen of music artists didn't receive heavy music education. • VCs will invent a new investment model: investing in people. The sports, movie, and music world has had it for a century now. It'll become mainstream for startup founders and content creators, too.

@johnrushx There’ll be platforms for new models. How about a draft-like way to invest in entrepreneurs? Imagine normies betting on startups like sports/fantasy. Or owning startup “teams” - Gameday Saturday build sessions are streamed lol I vote @thesamparr as play-by-play commentator.

@johnrushx Many implications, but fun one is thinking of new models to invest in biz/talent. What are the effects when less startup money is needed? If 200K is needed instead of $1M (and fewer rounds), 5-10 can do that instead of VC. ⬆️ supply of software + ⬆️ supply of investor cash = ?

@MarcBal77 @iannuttall Yeah, I really want to see a comparison of Windsurf vs. Bolt. Seems like Windsurf might be better for big, complex projects where Bolt wins for simple/small?

@iannuttall Dang, so much going on now: so windsurf over cursor, and no mention of replit or bolt .new (seem to see those for less code more ai dev). So many tools to experiment with…

I haven't had as much time to work recently but I've been testing Windsurf instead of Cursor, and... I'm considering a full time switch. Cursor has been buggy recently, not applying changes in Composer, deleting files, random timeouts and Windsurf codebase awareness is 🔥

can spend hours at desk creating garbage then best ideas come flowing when flopping around on a foam board in the ocean driving on highway at 120mph in a metal box on wheels 10 drinks deep at some shitty dive bar etc. creativity is weird.

@NoahRyanCo @coltybrah It won’t work on a surfboard, but there’s probably something else out there that works for text + audio capture.

@NoahRyanCo @coltybrah I use an iOS app called Quick Journal. It sucks for everything other than entering text as quickly as possible. I have to review it and re-enter stuff into another system (e.g. Notion) but the most important thing is capture thought as easily and fast *as possible*.

@charliedeets Just downloaded - I love it! One idea — add a setting to adjust font size of notes in the list. I’d like to make them smaller so I can see more entries and more of each entry. Great work! 👍

Gonna run a conversion test on the @brandbirdapp upgrade modal 💰 I feel like a feature comparison between the Free vs Pro plans will have a positive impact on the conversions. Also, I want to nudge more users toward the annual (discounted) plan with the pricing cards. Wdyt?

And I don’t necessarily like this, but you could consider adding a money-back guarantee. Since you want to increase annual conversions, an interesting test would be to include the guarantee *only* on annual plans. I’ve never seen that, but it directly addresses the objection to signing up annually (“maybe I won’t use this for that long.”). Could be genius or there’s a reason I’ve never seen it 😜

@d__raptis You could also add a “feature” saying access to all future releases to imply they’ll get even more value in the future.
