@biogerontology Raise more. Discovery is only ~15% of drug R&D cost. The other 85% is where drugs die. You've won the first race. Now fund the harder one: own the whole stack. You're one of the view who could do it. also, was a pleasure meeting you at the Biomarkers of Aging Conference too.

This is cool. Not sure why you need so much money if you are making drugs faster and cheaper. But it is great - maybe I should be thinking about raising more to scale. At the end of the day, we launched more drug candidates discovered using genAI into clinic with longevity therapeutic potential than any other company on the planet. What do you think?
Bloomberg@business

Isomorphic Labs, an AI-powered drug discovery company spun out of Google DeepMind, is in advanced discussions to raise more than $2 billion in a new round of funding, according to people familiar with the plan. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

🚨 BREAKING: Health Sec. RFK Jr. just announced the Systematic Targeting of MICROPLASTICS nationwide — a program to surge the ability to REMOVE microplastics from the human body HUGE! RFK JR: "We can't treat what we cannot measure. We cannot regulate what we don't understand. So today, HHS, alongside EPA, is taking direct action." "We are launching STOMP, which stands for Systematic Targeting of MicroPlastics. It's a $144 million national program to measure, understand, and to remove microplastics from the human body." "We are focusing on three questions. What is in the body, what's causing the harm, and how do we prove it? And we're answering them everywhere." @RapidResponse47

"Why does our FDA still incentivize all of this innovation to go to China?" @zachweinberg: "You can go to China, you can run a first-in-human study in a Chinese population at a Chinese hospital, you get your result, and then you can take that result back to America and skip the line." "I don't have to redo that Phase 1 and Phase 2 in a Western nation. I can use my Chinese data to open a Phase 3 study here and go for an approval." "Think about the incentive structure for a US biotech. You have to go to China. There is no alternative path because you've got competition on the other side who is racing ahead with infrastructure that you can't use." "We don't inspect, we don't audit, we don't send inspectors to these clinical trial sites. We have no idea what's actually going on." The Hill & Valley Forum 2026 @HillValleyForum

I know the whole longevity hype is kinda his thing, but we see cases of e.g. colorectal cancer in young adults increasing for decades. Their problem is definitely not aging and won’t be cured by reversing the aging process. So this is a nice PR piece, but it only scratches the surface of the problem.

At 40, do not give up on your life. This is the age where many people quietly surrender, not openly, not dramatically, but slowly. They wake up, go to work, return home, repeat the cycle, and call it living. The dreams they once had are no longer spoken about. The risks they once wanted to take are now replaced with fear. Life becomes routine, and routine slowly becomes a prison. At 40, you may look around and feel like time has moved faster than you expected. You start measuring your life against what you thought it would be. Some plans worked. Many did not. And somewhere inside, a voice may begin to whisper, “maybe this is all there is”. That voice is dangerous. Because the truth is, 40 is not the end of your story. It is the age where seeing finally arrives. You now understand things you did not understand at 25. You see people more clearly. You recognize mistakes faster. You know what matters and what does not. The real tragedy is not being lost at 40, it is deciding to stop trying at 40. Some people give up not because they cannot continue, but because they are tired of starting again. They are tired of failure, tired of disappointment, tired of hoping. So they settle into a life that looks stable on the outside but feels empty on the inside. You still have time. Use this phase to rebuild your finances, restore your health, mend broken relationships, learn new skills, and step into the person you once believed you could become. Number 40 means ‘Transition’. So it is not the age to give up, it is the age to become honest with yourself. Because one day you will be 60, looking back at 40, and realizing you were not old, you were just tired. And if you are not careful, that tiredness can quietly turn into a life you never truly lived.

Short every SaaS company on planet earth Today Cursor announced a REALLY sick feature that probably cost them millions of dollars to make Their AI agent records demo videos of itself after it builds things I gave the announcement to my OpenClaw. It built it out in 5 minutes. I pasted in the announcement to Henry. He said on it chief. 5 minutes later he not only built out the entire feature, but recorded a demo video of it too It's now implemented into our entire workflow. Now every time I ask my OpenClaw to build something, a demo video will be attached to every PR At this point how does any SaaS survive? You can take quite literally any feature they build, give it to your personal assistant, and it's built out in 5 minutes What moat is left? When I have superintelligence running locally on my mac studio, and it's able to build out any piece of software I can imagine in minutes, literally what value is left in any software company? This is the most exciting, frightening, awe inspiring time to ever be alive
Cursor@cursor_ai

Cursor now shows you demos, not diffs. Agents can use the software they build and send you videos of their work.

@antinertia I'm at the same juncture. It feels buggy some updates and I have to constantly spend time updating things, adding skills, but it does feel useful and I expect at some point we'll get to some functional level of autonomous agents or partially autonomous.

Owning a small business is still the best tax deal in America. Owning real estate (as a pro) makes it tax-free. Generate cash from your business. Generate losses from your real estate. All cash, no tax. My client made $847K last year and paid $0. Here's the exact blueprint:

Sam and Dario not being able to hold hands on stage in when the PM of India asks them too, at a summit about the future of AI and its safety, kinda implicitly shows they feel above governments, right? Like they really wouldn't care about world peace when it comes down to it, only winning? It's kinda freaky to me, I mean they are winning, but I don't know, you have to remember regardless of whatever level you're playing at (and they're playing at the highest level), entrepreneurship is still just a game? You can't take it so serious that you won't hold hands with your competitor right? Sundar being nice here only makes me more positive about Google
Yuchen Jin@Yuchenj_UW

This is so hilarious. Nothing can make Sam and Dario hold hands, not even the Prime Minister of India!

@levelsio fwiw qmd has a known bug where it times out every query and silently falls back (#9581). so if you have it "installed" it might not actually be doing anything. I switched to Voyage provider for embeddings + flat markdown files. works better but still not perfect
