@clock_jack @nedstcnnis I think it’s partially because Iwan Rheon is attractive, & part bc he’s a talented, skilled actor, and gives a great performance as Ramsay.
English

@nedstcnnis I've seen so many people fall for this dude so I'm not shocked at all
English

@clock_jack @nedstcnnis But I do think many GoT fans still have never bothered to watch him in anything else, then act like he’s only ever known for it. Meanwhile he has a whole range of characters, + is a singer/musician. And he seems like a really cool & sweet person in reality.
English

@MarjiStevens @KellyScaletta And more than that too. Those 3 are just his best known.
English

@SoCalGirl1776 @SupremeHarish @RealEmirHan That’s because he’s good in that one. He’s also played other good and complex characters. But so many people have only ever bothered to watch one thing some actors have worked on, and just don’t know how to separate and shake actors from characters.
English

@SupremeHarish @RealEmirHan Saw him recently in a Polish movie where he was totally sympathetic. Took me a while to come around!
English

@SupremeHarish @RealEmirHan I think way more people really need to look him up outside of GoT and watch his other work!
English

@maaarruu @MmMrsPerfect Ok, you’re just taking the worst stories and news the world hears. It’s not like that everywhere, that’s not to say there’s not problems, or other issues in other areas too.
English

@MmMrsPerfect I am truly sorry you have to feel scared in your own country, you really are brave. It is a beautiful country filled with beautiful people and all of this is unjustly sad and unfair to everyone living there. I do hope things get better in time. Lots of warm hugs to you! 🩶
English

but arab countries…………
what the fuck with the US and how inclined they are towards violence, and murder, and serial killing and shootings. it’s scary how all one hears and reads about the US most of the time include instances like this one
Fascinating@fasc1nate
In 2015, a Florida woman, Cheryl Treadway used the Pizza Hut app to get police help. Her boyfriend held her hostage with her children, and took her phone away. She convinced him to let her use the phone to order a pizza. She put in the special request section: "Please help. Get 911 to me." Police arrived, and her boyfriend was arrested.
English

@tofuho_ @iwanrheon Some recommendations: watch Vicious, a comedy, which was around the same time as GoT, but again, his character Ash is like the polar opposite of Ramsay. He’s also in a Christmas No.1, a holiday, romantic comedy, & also musical,he’s also a singer/musician.And The Light in the Hall.
English

@iwanrheon deserves all the awards because how does his Misfits character make me want to kiss his sweet baby angel face & his GoT character make me relish in watching dogs tear apart his stupid horrible face

English

@tofuho_ @iwanrheon You should watch more of his work, so many different roles. He has range.
English

@Nandetron There’s something seriously wrong with people who send hate or threats to actors for doing their job they were hired for, playing a role. When did these people forget they were watching a tv show or movie?
English

Surely Jack Gleeson as Joffrey Baratheon and Iwan Rheon as Ramsay Bolton top this list

Kamogelo@kamoutd
Tik tok made a list of actors who received death threats for roles they played and these 3 caught my attention... I am not condoning them I'm just saying i understand why 😭😭😭
English

@nastyytwink @FlanaganAaron Ramsay Bolton, the villain he played in GoT. Simon in Misfits had his darkness, but he was also emotional and complex.
English

@FlanaganAaron Ramsey vibes? I think for me as I’ve only seen him in Misfits I’d like to see him possess that role
English

@FlanaganAaron @nastyytwink People have been trying to fancast him as other villains for years I think too. Not that he doesn’t play dark characters great, but he’s done a lot more than that, with a whole range of roles. I swear it’s people who have never bothered to look up his other work outside of GoT.
English

#SansaStark NEVER meets #RamsayBolton in the books, he marries her friend #JeynePoole , who is pretending to be #AryaStark . I'M SO SICK OF THE "R*PE MAKES YOU STRONGER", TROPE! 😒😒😡😡💀💀 #GameOfThrones #ASongOfIceAndFire #GOT #ASOIAF #SophieTurner #IwanRheon

westerosies@westerosies
If you could erase one storyline from Game of Thrones, what would it be?
English

@incepthion I know what you’re all talking about. You don’t need to attach the article. I was just adding that.
English

@incepthion Ok but other actors that played roles which required wearing prosthetics didn’t mean they weren’t also talented.
English

@SubtleSiren23 The people making fun of you are just assholes. He is attractive.
English

@erensyeagerss Yea I’ve watched Misfits and GoT, and so many other projects of his. Most recently, I think I watched The Light in the Hall series. So good. Another complex character there.
English

@erensyeagerss I really wish more people would look up Iwan Rheon’s other work outside GoT too because he’s worked on so many projects and played good, bad, and complex characters. Plus he’s a great singer/musician. He’s so talented.
English

@holyrockwell He does have several roles where he’s just himself, and not in full makeup and prosthetics.
English

bill skarsgård in a role that doesn’t require full vfx makeup
❒@RlCKYRAGE
what would have to be on the other side for you to cross this?
English

@theogohmcd @carolinerenard_ Yea, it is dismissive. The whole “nepo baby” term thrown at any actor that has famous parents or family members is used by people online as an insult. They’re basically assuming they didn’t work hard, earn their success or career, or have their own talents bc of their family.
English

@carolinerenard_ The term “nepo babies” is dismissive. “He’s the #1 fave nepo baby” is dismissive. “They will be fine” is dismissive. The heavy focus on the imaginary opportunities you assume ppl aren’t getting undermines their work ethic and implies they don’t work hard. That’s dismissive.
