@kaseys_ You may not remember me, but you looked over some of my work while I was at CI in AZ. CI getting rid of their AZ newsroom was a shock, but it ended up being one of the best things that could have happened for my career. There is so much better in store for you, you deserve it

I’m not on here much since El*n took over but thought I should share I was laid off from Community Impact. I’m really heartbroken, angry and a lot of other feelings, but I’m still proud of the work I did over the last five years. Please keep me in my mind for any job openings ✨

Yesterday, I was laid off by @TexasTribune after nearly 9 years. New leadership got rid of its longest-tenured reporters and said they’ll no longer cover the criminal justice beat. No one on police, prisons, courts, the death penalty. In Texas. Here’s some of what we’ll lose:

Breaking: Absolutely astronomical figures in this InfoWars lawsuit out of Connecticut. Alex Jones owes $229 million to just the first three plaintiffs, all family members of Sandy Hook victims. There are nine more plaintiffs to go.
