Decent January. Dealt with a lot of bullshit (hi Amazon, hi Italian tax authorities, hi VAT service providers). Though 1 valuable skill I've acquired over the past 10 years of dealing with this kind of stuff is : 1. Not letting yourself get dragged emotionally by the bullshit imposed on you 2. But still taking aggressive action to get it fixed I think a lot of people either : - go into stress-overdrive, fix the problem but burn themselves out + neglect the other parts of the business - totally detach themselves emotionally, but that leads them to not taking the necessary actions and being apathetic What I've found best is to simply consider this kind of challenges as an interesting puzzle to solve. You do your absolute best to solve it, but you treat it more as a game. Though to still conclude my therapeutic rant => what bothers me most about Amazon, Tax authorities & VAT service providers, and what they have in common, is that : - if you fuck up => you pay for it - if they fuck up => ..., yes you guessed it, you still pay for their fuck up

Get a few of these every year with brand direct suppliers. Brand encourages massive purchases for volume discounts. Then decides they are going to go with an exclusive seller or sell on Amazon themselves and now wants us off. Some will follow through with threats and file IP complaints and others these are just baseless threats. Will be interesting to see where this one ends up.
