One of the benefits I've found of "AI vibe coding" so far is that it speeds up the process for me a lot. Like making these maps of 2023-2025 intensity errors (from some verification output for different models) and then gridding them. I could code this myself, but Claude+Cursor allows me to do something that would take a few hours at least in probably 15 minutes total. It's great for side projects that I didn't have the time for before.
