@wingstopIuvr I was bmi 14 and made a full recovery. It just depends on several factors. The key is slow refeeding. I had to start with adding a small breakfast, and then build from there. I would get sick every day but kept going because I truly wanted to get better.
English

Everyone telling this girl to recover when it’s quite literally impossible now. Her body is so used to not having food with high cals, so her body will reject it. Recovery will be very hard…

@sundolld @shindawarutsu I’d lowkey be traumatized if someone messaged me that stupid shit. “Joking” about grooming is weirdo behavior, and this is coming from someone who was literally groomed.
English

@shindawarutsu I need people to take down that post I’m so serious. I feel uncomfortable knowing that people are actively messaging me and having my requests filled with the stupid “joke” they think is okay to even joke about in the first place. They refused to take it down ✌🏻

@ScipioAfr1canus @M0BILESUITZER0 Holy shit just say you’re a femcel move on. Wanting to fuck is normal. God forbid someone engage in the most normal act known to man lmao. I guess you’re against masturbation too because your train of thought implies that masturbation is a form of self objectification.
English

@M0BILESUITZER0 If my partner is so fucking fragile that they need to penetrate my body just to feel validated, they aren't worthy of my love.
English

if you stopped having sex with your partner for 8 months regardless of gender purely as an experiment and nothing more they would generally feel miserable, yes. radfems are so fucking stupid.
lu@hilosfemi2
everyone mad but stop having sex for your boyfriend for 8 months see if he still loves you so much lmao

@grunge_h1pp1e One of my biggest regrets in life is not getting help sooner. I truly hope you seek help very soon. You are at very serious risk of dying. I went through treatment and it genuinely improved my life.
English

@grunge_h1pp1e Played that game for 10 years. Got meningitis, almost died, got worse, and then went to college and realized there’s more to life than restriction. Now I deal with memory loss, osteopenia, and severe chronic pain. Can barely make it up the stairs sometimes. Anorexia sucks balls

@_celia_bedelia_ @offbeatorbit I would understand if there sentiment was like “hey some women need pain management for paps” because I am one of those people. But like sedation? Being sedated would be inconvenient and risky. You shouldn’t be put under anesthesia unless it’s a serious procedure.
English

@somegrlsam A little Xanax is perfect for relaxing you before a Pap smear. Makes it way less uncomfortable!
English

I’m gonna say it - sorry, so many of you are acting like you are completely helpless when it comes to your own care. You need to advocate for yourself by TELLING YOUR DOCTOR AHEAD OF TIME that you experience pain during paps and they will give you medication. They do not assume every patient has pain therefore they are not giving out meds to everyone who gets a pap. Ask. For. Meds. If they say no, you’re very much able to decline to get the pap.
AND they will not sedate you. Sedation turns a 10 minute out patient procedure into a day long endeavor of them monitoring you after you wake.
Harriertail - WC Zine summer 26 🇬🇧@harriertail
genuinely tho why *can't* women get sedatives or pain killers for pap smears if they find it painful. a dose of benzos cannot cost the NHS more than a pound. there is no reason to keep making women suffer

@ontario_xyz @planetclarke There is evidence that suggests schizophrenia is comprised of genetic factors mixed with environmental factors. The genetics are a predisposition and the environmental factors trigger the manifestation of symptoms. Pretty cool to read about. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC87…
English

It's not even a real disease. It literally DOES NOT exist. This isn't difficult to prove. All of the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia (and every other DSM diagnosis) is based on completely subjective patient reports. Diagnoses are forced and a patient has to "confess" to the subjective symptoms to be diagnosed. There are no biological behavioral or physiological markers for any psychiatric diagnosis.
English

@suhyeonhyuniee Ah well I don’t agree with that. We shouldn’t have to advocate so hard, but it’s the unfortunate reality of receiving medical care as women. If we don’t fight for better care, then we can never hope for anything more. Which sucks balls
English

@katblikee yea i agree with what you’re saying but op is upset that people are saying we shouldn’t HAVE to advocate so hard for ourselves like this, and that they are children essentially for wanting better.
English

@suhyeonhyuniee Sickening reality. But that’s why it’s so important to encourage others to stand up for themselves in similar situations yaknow
English

@katblikee ultimately it’s not really simple. even in your example you just said you have limited options with insurance and almost died.
English

@suhyeonhyuniee Thankfully I survived because my grandma stood up for me and kept taking me back to the hospital. It took THREE visits for them to realize that I was actively dying. But my grandma put her foot down and said we weren’t leaving and that’s how I’m here today.
English

@suhyeonhyuniee A near death experience taught me that you can’t just let things happen, you absolutely have to fight to be taken seriously sometimes. It’s sad and disgusting. But letting yourself go through medical neglect is going to be way worse in the end. (2)
English

@katblikee i get that, but the fact of the matter is that for various reasons many woman can’t just do that. and we shouldn’t have to go to those extremes to get basic medical care. idk i just don’t think op calling people childish for it is helping anyone.
English

@suhyeonhyuniee I agree that calling it childish doesn’t help. But the reality is that you do have to go to extremes sometimes. You shouldn’t have to, but alas. Telling other women to stand up for themselves will never be a negative though, it saves lives. (1)
English

@suhyeonhyuniee Limited options due to being on Medicaid. I just refuse to be ignored. I almost died once from being brushed off, never again. Not everyone is confrontational, but they definitely should be in the face of maltreatment. (2)
English

@katblikee a big chunk of the issue here is that many women have spoken up, and are not taken seriously by medical professionals or even other women. their discomfort/pain is dismissed or even laughed at.
English

@fxingalx I had pre cancer in my face right by my eye lol. Thought it was a calcium deposit and left it alone for years until I went to get acne cream. They cut it right out of my face after local anesthesia. Crazy experience. Pre cancer isn’t serious. You caught it early early yay!
English

Yeah so it turns out I actually have pre cancer
al@fxingalx
Just did a minor surgery on myself
English

@_parasocial They won’t know you’re in pain until you say you are. Same with any other medical procedure. While there should be better tools out there, the reality of the situation is that it’s limited, so you have to stand up for yourself instead.
English

@_parasocial Like seriously. You have to learn to advocate for yourself. I struggled with Pap smears being uncomfy/painful and instead of being quiet, I said something. I said “ow that fucking hurts” and my gyno and I found a way that made it less painful.
