I have colluded with @andysc to make some very cool and geeky Quantum earrings! You might recognise these as the coupling maps from two of our 20-qubit machines. If you would like a pair, hit PayPal.me/andysc/12 and they’ll be on their way! #IBMQ

We have increased the quantum volume to 64 on one of our 27-qubit quantum Processors.  This was possible through improving the compiler, calibrating faster two-bit gates, using dynamical decoupling, and an excited state promoted readout. Here is the paper arxiv.org/abs/2008.08571

To underline @howardboville's point IBM just graduated 600+ people from our developer JumpStart program and @GinniRometty was the keynote and @JWhitehurst did the Q&A (I did a lightning talk :+) ) [1/2]

Skills development and diversity are two areas that are vital to the success of a company and to society. I’m excited to see the focus that IBM puts on both of these areas, most recently with 1000 paid internships for #PTECH graduates in the USA. #1cb124d05554" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">forbes.com/sites/annapowe…

🚀 As one of the greatest engineering achievements in human history, #Apollo11 carried the first astronauts 238,900 miles to the lunar surface and returned safely on this day 51 years ago. Learn how IBM helped make it possible: ibm.co/3eSlsBu
