Happy 80th independence day Jordan! 🇯🇴 We've met so many friendly Jordanians (both human and feline) over our week here who have made us feel so welcomed.

I'll sometimes be recognized in airports (always say hi if you do!). But today I got to fanboy when seeing one of my favorite artists in the world: @paavo_s of @aboveandbeyond ! We shared a flight together from SZK-JNB ahead of A&B's show in Joburg tomorrow. A genuinely great guy!

Next up on our #CrossingLines goal for 2026: the Tropic of Capricorn. This is the line over which the sun passes on the December solstice - officially marking the start/end of the Tropics. We snapped some quick photos and got back in our car before any wild animals appeared 😅

What an absurdly great morning on safari in Kruger National Park. Last night's storms and this morning's cloudy skies led to some excellent sightings - even just from the main road (H4-2)!

Another incredible ski trip to Niseko! Redeemed 85k Hilton points/night (with fifth night free) to stay at the base of the Village area. Can't beat the location! In 5 days, logged 103.7k vert feet and 101 miles downhill across 114 runs. Weather varied from rain to dumping snow.

As Katie and I take our last flight of 2025, we're looking back on our travels this year. In 2025, we flew 112 flights spanning over 136k miles -- a relatively light year of air travel for us! Over the last 10 days of the year, I'm going to count down my top flights of 2025 ⬇️

After living nomadically for 8+ years, there aren't many places left on my bucket list. But there are experiences. I checked off one of those last night: Push The Button at an Above & Beyond show. Katie and I made a sign for our 20th A&B concert and were picked to come on stage

With this flight, @katieGenter and I have now flown @TurkishAirlines to 6 different continents in the past two months! Over 35k miles flown, locked up Turkish Elite status for two years, and we should be Turkish Miles&Smiles millionaires in November!

Country #32: Maldives 🇲🇻 (4th visit, 14 nights this visit) - Landmarks: Republic Square, Hukuru Miskiy - Activity: visited fish market, snorkeled coral reef - Food: Mas huni with roshi, chicken biryani, endless variations of tuna - Transportation: ferry, seaplane, boat

Y'all can keep thinking August-September are bad times to go to the Maldives, and Katie and I will keep taking advantage of cheap stays and award availability 😄

Shout out to @Qantas for it's remarkably consistent lounge quality! 🙌 Whether we are in Sydney, Singapore, London, or LAX, the lounge agents are well-trained, friendly, and accommodating. And the food is always top notch. Honestly one of the top reasons we stick with Oneworld.

Qantas is flying the A380 between SYD-DFW again, so that means it's AvGeek season in Sydney! 😄 So fun to catch up with @TheForwardCabin, @GerardiAviation, and @Craighton this morning for a walk around Circular Quay, Opera House, and a ferry ride around the harbour!

Did you jump on that cheap Le Méridien Maldives deal back in March? Well, check your email. It seems the hotel is trying to cancel as many of these bookings as it can by imposing an artificial 24-hour deadline to respond with details (even though our stay is months away)
