Many voters who lack documents like older or rural voters lean Republican, while stricter voting rules often energize Democratic turnout. So it could suppress some GOP voters and boost the opposition at the same time.

@BlankCapital @ScottPresler Security matters, but risk doesn’t automatically justify every fix. The issue isn’t whether systems can improve it’s whether the SAVE Act solves a proven problem without making it harder for eligible people to vote.

I live in Washington State. The repercussions are felt far beyond the national implication. But if you are in the camp that there are no voting irregularities as a result of purposeful election fraud then we have no basis for a discussion. My profession is also in cyber security and I see the word through that lense. I don’t believe anything is “safe” and we always must be improving.

I don't want to violate the integrity of a long standing tradition with the filibuster. I'd rather let the country get destroyed over election integrity. #PassTheSAVEact @ScottPresler
