Long-term Vancouver residents (myself included) need to acknowledge that cities are living, breathing, and EVOLVING entities. Nostalgia for how things used to be does not win over people's right to housing and community.

Most Vancouver residents open to densifying single-family neighbourhoods. Overall 63% of respondents said want to see a citywide plan that emphasizes future growth and allows more people to afford and live in all parts of Vancouver. #citywideplan #VanPoli dailyhive.com/vancouver/vanc…

Great support for Premier @Dave_Eby’s housing plans here at #HousingCentral. I’m particularly glad to hear him talking about acquiring existing affordable market housing, and recognizing the huge role of the community housing sector in building the housing we need. #VanPoli

Mind-blowing! That's how I describe #housingcentral Mid-Day Day 2 plenary with Dr. Ameil Joseph and Gabriel Peters on designing for discrimination to a future of building justice. It's another reminder that we still have so much to learn #lifelonglearning

It's not too late to send in comments or sign up to speak in support of the @CityofVancouver Streamlining Rental initiative. This policy would help create the bare minimum conditions to support secured market or below-market rental in more areas shapeyourcity.ca/rental-rz

The failed Little Mountain project is the perfect example of why we must “keep community lands in community hands.” It should have been developed/owned/operated by a non-profit & could have been housing ppl affordably for over a decade already. Shame. bc.ctvnews.ca/it-stinks-vanc…
