Total seats won by INC on 4th May: 90 Total Hindu INC victors: 12 Hindus form just 13% of INC legislators elected yesterday. Leave aside the irony of “jitna abadi utna haq”, it seems the party is ghettoising & marginalising itself, whether by intent or by circumstance.

Ha ha.. You think Advocates are born out of blue??? Justice VR Krishna Iyer was Minister in Kerala's first Left Govt Ministry before become Judge ... And as SC Judge, he diluted, Landmark Judgment of Allahabad HC Judge Jagmohanlal Sinha's Judgment, allowing Indira Gandhi to continue in power as PM). Another SC Justice Bahrul Islam was Congress MP from Assam, many times before becoming Judge and again became MP (He passed Order to save all Congress CMs of Bihar from Fodder Scam - Leaving Lalu Prasad to Destiny) ... All aware - Akhil Bharatiya Adhivakta Parishad is a Sangh Organisation, all ABVP LLB Students are part of it .... What is big issue ... Can't LLB students select their politics? ...AILU (All India Lawyers Union... Every SFI or AISF students join AILU.. What is the problem???). AILU is a Left wing organisation & many of its members became Judges, Congress have many lawyers organisations - one prominent is Vidhi Parishad - many became Judges. DMK, AIADMK, SP, BSP, RJD have their Lawyers organisations - They all became Judges later - Analyse the Judge based on their Judgments - not on go petty on their old College or Lawyers days affiliations.... Have some Decorum.. Analise a Judge based on his/her Judgments ... Now a days a CPI(M) MP in Rajya Sabha always barking against a Rtd Supreme Court Judge (He was ABVP during his student days) - Basically that CPI(M)'s problem is - That SC Judge Ordered demolition of his illegal Flat in Kerala (made out his kick backs) 😎

Congress and Abhishek Manu Singhvi have a strange definition of defence. Pawan Khera stands accused of forgery. Documents were fabricated. The questions before the country are simple. How were they made. Who made them. Where they were made. That trial is now coming. And what is Singhvi’s answer in court? Silence on the forgery. Instead a complaint that CM Dr @himantabiswa’s words were “unrepeatable and unprintable.” Read that again. Not a single line claiming Khera’s allegations are true. Not one defence of the documents. Just outrage over language. This is the oldest Congress trick. Caught with forged paper in hand, change the subject. Make it about tone. Make it about decorum. Pray the country forgets the crime. And unparliamentary speech? Mallikarjun Kharge, the Congress President himself, stood on a stage and called a sitting Prime Minister a terrorist. Where was the decorum then. Where was Singhvi’s outrage then. Congress has no answer on the forgery because there is no answer. So they perform. They posture. They cry foul over words while their own spokesperson walks toward a courtroom. The forged documents will speak for themselves. I would say “Picture Abhi Baaki Hai,”

Win or lose, a shout out to both @mkstalin and @EPSTamilNadu for their tireless campaign and hard work put in over the last several months. One of them will lose and the other will win but both have given it their best efforts. And for EPS it has been an almost solo herculean effort of keeping the party together, building alliances and ensuring that the AIADMK stays relevant. All in the midst of constantly being written off. Kudos to both. 👏👏👏

@journsuresh If these results are true on the counting day then all the hype of vote chori, EVM hack falls flat. How convenient it is to blame CEC when you are on the losing side and keep mum when the results are favoring you. The hypocrisy is clearly evident!!

I kept the bag in the room and they didn't allow me because they saw my 'Janeu'. They started telling that you have to remove it. If you don't remove, we can't allow you to write the exam...Around seven students were also asked to remove their Janeu. We had no option so we removed it...I felt very sad. I could not write the CET exam properly...This happened yesterday..."

IMPORTANT: Can we have a ban on ALL political protests on main roads at peak hours on weekdays across India? If you wish to protest, please do so in a designated area at a fixed time. Protestors are brought in buses, main roads are blocked, traffic gets congested and citizens bear the brunt. Mumbai yesterday, where else tomorrow? 😡

As Shri. @RahulGandhi Ji arrives in Tamil Nadu today to undertake a crucial election campaign, the Income Tax Department with the hindi speaking officials as, under the pretext of a ‘search’, unlawfully confined me within the Sriperumbudur Assembly Constituency, effectively preventing me from discharging my political duties and engaging with the people. This deliberate action, carried out at a politically sensitive moment, is a clear and calculated attempt to obstruct democratic functioning and weaken the activities of the opposition. The timing of this intervention exposes its true intent - not enforcement, but intimidation. It reflects a disturbing pattern of using central agencies as instruments of political pressure to silence dissent, restrict political participation, and create an atmosphere of fear among opposition leaders and workers. Such blatant misuse of authority is an attack on the foundational principles of democracy, where free movement, free speech, and fair political engagement must be protected. When institutions meant to uphold the law are used to serve political ends, it undermines public trust and erodes the integrity of our democratic system. I strongly condemn this politically motivated action and reaffirm my commitment to stand firm against such attempts to suppress democratic voices. No amount of intimidation can deter us from our duty to serve the people and uphold the values of justice, fairness, and democracy.”

I must have spoken to at least a dozen people from various constituencies during the day. Then on my show at night,to maybe another 40-50. Most callers spoke about how money had started to flow to voters. Almost all those who said this admitted that both the major parties were distributing money to voters. The amounts ranged from 500 to a whopping 5000 per vote. The average seems to be ₹1000 for now with the promise of another ₹1000 closer to the voting day. This is a mockery of democracy. If the @ECISVEEP cannot see this happening they may as well shut shop. The only consolation is that people who take the money may vote for whoever they wish and not on the basis of who paid them. Elections in TN are becoming an auction. #TamilNaduElections2026 #TNElection2026
