Warning not to use @opodo for travel booking, they’ve become a genuine fraud now. Bought tickets, but could not add luggage, when called to add it they requested £250. Just shocking! Is there anything could be done?

Can anyone think of anything good to say about @opodo? Why give your money to a company that no-one trusts? #Scammers

I've now been asked multiple times for my take on Elon's offer for Twitter. So fine, this is what I think about that. I will assume the takeover succeeds, and he takes Twitter private. (I have little knowledge/insight into how actual takeover battles work or play out) (long 🧵)

An often-overlooked team skill is the ability to dissent & commit. Argue for your point of view, but once it’s clear a decision is made, do your best to make it successful. [Exception: I would never suggest committing to unethical decisions.]

Working @HODigital can be challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding - which is why I’m thrilled to be around to make things better for a bit longer. I’ve successfully applied to do my job permanently, so now I’ll start posting more about the work we’re doing. #GovDesign

@indiyoung How can we make team pause in the understanding stage for a bit when the focus is delivery?

All this focus on ideas makes it tempting for people to skip over the understanding part. Instead, if you think of the problem space as understanding a person (not a “user” or a “customer,”) … you can let go of your need to solve problems for a bit.
