Are you suggesting that body shape determines sewing skill? Off the rack is generally made for a B cup. So if the there is a correlation, it would be that people with bodies not accommodated by off the rack which would mean the average cup size would be even higher.

@fluffmitten @zesprie @dieworkwear Yeah, over 50% of women in the US have a D cup or higher, and still the most common fit problem is wearing bras too big in the band and too small in the cup. Which means half of us need more adjustments for the most “accommodating” sized patterns, let alone “standard”.
