Thanks for sharing this. Trump's negotiating style is unnegotiable and unpredictable and can change based on a whim. If you show any type of autonomy or self-sufficiency he will punish you, blame you for things unrelated (ie Wildfires). It's fascinating to me that there are smart people who don't realize this reality and simply blame Carney.

Interesting lens that you have. Not bowing down to Donald Trump's demands is probably the best decision Canadian's could have made. If it was up to the Canadian Conservatives we would likely be negotiating for statehood right now. In 10-20 years the world will look back and say, what I tragedy the Trump administration was.

@kboon @FoodProfessor I am living deeper into it than you have ever experienced. The 19 countries you speak of are the ones benefiting. Mexico is a great example as the peso has been gaining ground on the Canadian dollar & inflation is lower. They're also now the largest trade partner with the US.
