We can confirm that Mohammed Kudus has suffered a setback in his return from injury. The Ghana international forward suffered a significant quad injury during our Premier League fixture against Sunderland in January. He had returned to team training during the past week, however will now require further specialist review and, potentially, surgery. We will provide any relevant further updates in due course. A 23-year-old palm wine tapper, Numatekpor Kwaku, also known as ‘On God,’ has been arrested at Bibiani Subrinkwanta in the Western North Region for allegedly setting his girlfriend’s family house ablaze. The arson claimed the lives of three people: his 19-year-old girlfriend, Benedicta Kudjo Felicia (a student at Queen Senior High School), her 61-year-old mother, Maame Mary Oppong, and 22-year-old Dora Adoma Kudjo. The family had previously warned him to stay away from Felicia because she was still a student and they disapproved of the relationship. He reportedly threatened to burn down the house if they refused to allow him to marry her, and then carried out the threat.

I thought it’s fair that whoever alleges people are threatening him brings these said people to light? And when he mentions that a govt appointee is involved, that becomes scandalous and should draw public interest in probity?
