Which position in the Brett Veach era do you think the Chiefs have struggled to draft from a talent perspective compared to others? Defensive Back has probably been the best imo, but what about the position group they've struggled with the most? Would you say defensive end?

Chiefs coach Andy Reid says RB Kenneth Walker III worked a lot two years ago out of shotgun and last year primarily under center. Says his stats were good in both. Reid says Chiefs feel like they have an RB who can be effective in either setting.

@RickShielsPGA Because I’m recently returned to golf after 25+ years, I had clubs to update. Max K was honestly the only one I had hopes of hitting straight in my fittings. Just fit me best. Price is steep but I’m improving rapidly with it and enjoy it immensely.

@Matty_KCSN Doesn’t it depend on the route? Whips and comebacks would certainly depend on that burst, even simple out/in routes. Yet, posts, post-corner, crossers, drags would all be how well speed is maintained, no? I suppose all that gets muddied by how individual WR’s sell the routes.

Random WR thought/question.. Do we over-emphasize the "burst out of a break" and under-value a player entering their break at near-top speed then maintaining it? Is decelerating more to make the break THEN explode better than just hitting it at pace w/ less speed variance?

A year where Patrick can adjust to life w/o Travis during a reboot rather than specifically targeting SB. It’s Travis less focused due to life outside of football.

@KCJohnKC @ConcernsChief @Cassy_Mae Why does everything have to be long term? This gives another year they have to worry very little about the TE room. They can keep plugging holes at other positions. They didn't make pkayoffs 1 year, and even if they had, Pat was out, so wouldn't have gone far.

@BlitzBaIIer @Arrowhead_Adam I’d ask Philly fans if they believe that he utilized Westbrook well. Westbrook benefited from his receiving ability though. Something that Walker has yet to establish. Not saying he can’t, just that it’s never been what he’s known for. Still hopeful though.

Never liked the way the Seahawks used Kenneth Walker. He’s a volume guy, a home run hitter who needs 20 touches a game to guarantee explosive runs. Zach Charbonnet and his plodding style always got in the way. In fact, Charbs not being available in the playoffs was probably an accidental blessing for Seattle.

@KCJohnKC Charles also had a much smaller frame than Walker.

@Arrowhead_Adam And yet all you would hear from Philly fans is frustration about not using the backs enough. His use of Charles was criminal. We were always asking for more. I’m still hopeful and I can’t complain. It’s leaps and bounds better than it was last year.

@KCJohnKC A few things here. First off, he has the best quarterback alive and should throw the ball a ton. Second, it’s been a long time since he’s had any real running back talent. In the past, he’s used guys like Charles and Westbrook and Shady pretty extensively.

The smoke around KC and a T is getting a bit too much to be COMPLETELY ignored. Leaking a team will have interest doesn't mean anything to drive up price if the rest of the league knows they aren't interested at all.
