The frontrunner for LA Kings new head coach by a long shot is still Jay Woodcroft. Holland was forced to fire him by McDavid's agent when he became President. Holland will want to make amends. He's blocked in Anaheim. Coach Q isn't there as a short term fix. He's like Lindy.

Someone needs to remind Holland that Gallant, Laviolette, and DeBoer are still unemployed. His boy Woodcroft was 79-41-13 as an NHL head coach and he'd also be an upgrade. Not sure if Jay would forgive Kenny for scapegoating him in Edmonton but time heals most wounds.
