@millerniumtwit @calvinrobinson Another one. I have the right to leave religion. Its called freedom from religion. You have no right to pray for me. I didn't give you consent either. ASSHOLE.

@JoelMCurzon Reasonable, if you only rely on hard evidence. But we're here because our father wanted us to learn to live by Faith. The best example is Peter's declaration of Christ, and Jesus' confirmation that it was revelation from Father. Give seeking that a try, as a personal experiment.

I think that there was, indeed, an historical Jesus; but given the poverty of the evidence, and the clearly mythopoetic construction of the gospels, I also think it is reasonable to doubt Jesus’s historicity. It hardly matters: the Jesus that Christians believe in is a myth. 1/n

@Bar_tolmi @PearlKevinPrice Do you not choose your words? On this topic, I'm extremely serious. God gave the world some important things preparatory to the Lord's return. It's preparing a people, a Bride, for the Bridegroom. The trump has sounded. Judgement comes next.

@Bar_tolmi @PearlKevinPrice I don't know what you are. But your words that push fear, uncertainty and doubt are literally nothing compared to the divine witnesses I've had. I know what study and sincerity I've put in to get that witness. I know my approach to that was not like yours.

@Bar_tolmi @PearlKevinPrice @bing_TX @JustinMeas72414 I've read and studied The Book of Mormon with a heart to know if it's true. What was convincing was God's answer to me. If I took God out of it, as with Jesus, the Gospel, the Bible and all things you need faith and trust in God to believe, I would probably argue the same as you

One of the biggest signs that the Book of Mormon was a complete sham is how it portrays it's pretend prophets. Every single one of them has strikingly clear visions of the future. Not one prophet of the Old Testament could do this, they saw through the glass of time darkly, but all of Joseph Smith's imaginary seers somehow had 20/20 visions. How did they accomplish this? Because it was all concocted over 1700 years AFTER the New Testament events took place, not before. Here's an example from one such "prophecy" in the tenth chapter of the Book of Fables. I cut out the imaginary fluff parts Joseph added and left what he plagiarized from the Gospels. This Lehi supposedly lived 600 years before Christ, but proclaimed this: A prophet would the Lord God raise up among the Jews, even a Messiah, or, in other words, a Savior of the world. The Redeemer of the world. All mankind were in a lost and in a fallen state. Also, a prophet who should come before the Messiah, to prepare the way of the Lord. He should go forth and cry in the wilderness: Prepare ye the way of the Lord, and make his paths straight; for there standeth one among you whom ye know not; and he is mightier than I, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose. He should baptize in Bethabara, beyond Jordan; even that he should baptize the Messiah with water, the Lamb of God, who should take away the sins of the world. He spake unto my brethren concerning the gospel which should be preached among the Jews. And after they had slain the Messiah, who should come, and after he had been slain he should rise from the dead, and should make himself manifest, by the Holy Ghost, unto the Gentiles. Wake up, sleeping LDS members, you have believed a lie!

@PearlKevinPrice @bing_TX @JustinMeas72414 This is not the hole you think it is. You realize when the accounts are similar; 'They copied/plagiarized!" And when the accounts don't have all the same details: "Why don't they agree??!! DiFfEreNT GosPeL!!" Go try reading and studying to believe, not find 'holes'

@bing_TX @JustinMeas72414 @kcoryjones If you look at the 4 main gospels of the NT, each author has their own voice, do they not? Yet Matthew was the only one to have recorded a near-perfect account of Jesus’s sermon on the mount. I’d say that’s, well, unbelievable. Can’t believe I didn’t see that sooner.

@MendamCaedo @LukeFHan So the argument is the family and friends were in on it to achieve that end? That's nearly the dumbest thing I've ever heard. A case of a (false) conclusion drawn searching for evidence.

@LukeFHan On the founding of a scam cult that allowed for Joseph to fuck the other members wives while demanding they pay him for the privilege of it. Duh.

I'm going to be touring the San Diego temple with a prominent Protestant YouTuber. Then he's going to ask questions about what we saw. What would you share with a thoughtful Protestant YouTuber (not pastor Jeff) about the temple if you had the chance?

Oliver Cowdery was rebaptized into the Church after his excommunication, but fell ill and passed away before being able to make it to Salt Lake. One of my biggest historical “what ifs” is what would have happened if Oliver made it to Salt Lake. What do you think?

I went to the temple this week for the first time in years and am now strangely craving Jell-O. I think my Mormon ancestors are calling. I'll be listening to Janice Kapp Perry songs and watching Saturday's Warrior the rest of the day just in case.

@Sarahsred7 Book IS blue and I've wondered why. Best I can come up with if it's part of the new covenant of these latter days. Like symbolically a ketubah or something

I should probably make an intro post to the many followers who have joined the ranks. My name is Sarah. I got my start in pro Mormon/Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints content by posting on Tik Tok that I wanted a "Loudly Aggressively Mormon/Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints relationship, I want it to look like Deseret Book threw up all over it" The video went "Utah Viral" and then came the hate comments which I started responding to and built a following. My video brought me more than additional followers, Ben saw it and sent me a DM. I ignored him but we later matched on Mutual. Ben proposed to me 12/30/2025 and we were sealed for time and all eternity on 5/2/2026 in the Provo City Center temple. I've been posting on Tik tok consistently for 1 year defending the Gospel. I've got FB and Instagram as well. All the same username. I use "Mormon" because enemies of the church do and social media algorithms don't know the difference. I'm not willing to let the algorithm be run over with content from people who wish us ill. I love my Savior Jesus Christ. He has given me everything. Church is true, Book is Blue, and Jesus is ALWAYS there for you.

@kcoryjones @JustinMeas72414 @PearlKevinPrice @bing_TX It’s as crazy as going to your grave denying Fanny was the first wife of Joe, but Emma knew it since day one and still did. Made her son believe the Holy Spirit called him to usurp Young’s office. But tell me what people will and won’t do and why…

"Hyrum has been underappreciated by every generation since his death, including ours. He was not Joseph's accessory. He was the Patriarch. He was the elder brother who could have resented the younger and instead believed him, defended him, stood beside him from the first vision to the last breath. The Lord called Hyrum's heart the heart of integrity, and said He loved him because of it. Read that revelation again. There is no higher praise in all of scripture given to any modern man. We need more Hyrums. We have plenty of people who want the status, the recognition, the calling. We do not have enough Hyrums, people who will simply stand beside the work, hold up the prophet's hands, ask for nothing, take a bullet first. Most of us are not called to be Joseph. All of us are called to be Hyrum. Find your prophet, your bishop, your stake president, your apostle, your covenant family, and stand with him. Defend your faith. That is the work." -- your pioneer ancestor

@chris_jolliff I celebrated it with friends this year (a little early)! 7 weeks and a day after the first fruits, a time of self-reflection and character improvement (counting the Omer) and we had a feast, 2 wheat loaves (I picked up a normal challah and a sweet challah) and talked about Acts 2
