Just so you know, when you tie someone's arm like this, your chances of tourniqueting those limbs are high. If left for too long, especially more than 6 hours, the victim can lose both arms. Just telling you so you know what not to do incase the person is just a thief or a bandit or APC supporter.

I sell cement at the market here in Abeokuta. A customer came to pay for 150 bags of cement, collected receipt and disappeared for over 4 months. Yesterday, he came back with trucks to carry the cement. He said he had been seriously sick since the day after he made payment, that’s why he couldn’t come earlier. I explained to him that the price of cement has increased since then and he needs to add more money before carrying the goods. I even offered to refund the exact amount he paid back then if he’s not comfortable. Omo, the man got angry immediately 😩 He said he’s not adding any money and he’s not collecting refund. According to him, “na the cement wey I pay for I wan carry.” He even threatened to drag me legally next week. Before he drags me, that’s why I said I should ask if I’m really wrong because honestly, market price don go up and I no wan lose money o. Pls what do I do now I need your advice it seems this man wants to chêât me ?

The customer has already paid and collected a receipt. Your responsibility is to keep his goods aside and, if necessary, charge him a reasonable daily storage fee. But increasing the price of goods he already paid for is not right at all. That kind of argument won’t stand anywhere. Just supply him what he paid for and charge him for storage and security if he delayed in picking it up. Nobody expects you to keep goods for free indefinitely. In fact, the storage and security fee could even end up being more than the market price increase 😂😂 At the end of the day, there are smarter ways to handle these things. The only thing is that the storage fee should still be fair and negotiable.

Also charges up to N350k for projects. Once students pay for the projects, he will give them what to copy and submit to him. We are beaming lights at all universities and polytechnics. If you are a lecturer currently extorting students by any means, you are advised to stop now. We need to restore the glory in our universities and start producing top quality graduates to drive Africa to greatness.

I am from Imo, and I am not a fan of Governor Hope Uzodinma, but one thing I must say is that his maturity is top-notch. The man is the most influential Igbo man in the APC, yet you will never see him talk down on Peter Obi because he understands that Obi is genuinely loved due to his antecedents. He plays his politics and has the highest capacity to deliver APC votes in any presidential election. If Hope runs for any federal election tomorrow, and Obi and Otti are not candidates, I will pick him over any other politician from the South East.

One guy sold his mother's generator worth over ₦350k for ₦35k to one Aboki that buys "iron-condemn". That same evening, the guy took his babe to a joint and went on a drinking spree. The Aboki came back the next day thinking the guy will have any new item to sell. Unfortunately for him, the guy's mother was around as she was already so paranoid because of her generator. As soon as the Aboki came asking about the guy, the mother quickly locked the gate, held the Aboki and called the police. To cut the long story short, the generator came back after the Aboki was taken to the police station. He lost his ₦35k and lost the generator too.

Since he didn't wants to sell land yet, why not sell one plot, and use part of the money to build fences around it all and put gate, then write NOT FOR SELL ON THE GATE. It will saves him of this street, now he's going to be facing court cases up and down. Now the people that sold the land may not even show up again

My uncle refused to sell one plot of land in the village for ₦5 million. There’s a serious problem in our community—some youths are selling people’s land without their knowledge. Your land can be sold without you even being aware. My uncle’s land is close to the major road in the community, so we advised him to sell it. He agreed, but the issue was the price. The land is 10 plots, and he insisted on ₦7 million per plot or nothing. Buyers were offering ₦5 million, some even ₦4.5 million, but he refused. Then last month, he saw a man putting up a dwarf fence on the land. He approached him, and the man said he had bought the land for ₦50 million. He even brought out documents as proof. My uncle was completely devastated. The case is now in court.

I hope the court settles that for him. You can’t really fight the community. That’s why it’s good to do things when others are doing it. If it was an agreement by the community that does land should be sold out, and every other person did, he should have quietly sold the land at first. Sadly the case might be dead on arrival. But then why will youths in the community wake up one morning and start selling people land?

I know of this young man who returned from the US several years ago to bury his dad. Soon after the burial was done and the will was read, he discovered that his father owned several plots of land in the GRA of a particular city. A few days later, with the land documents in hand, he and his driver went to inspect the properties. To their shock, they found giant mansions already built on the lands. Being a practicing lawyer, he decided to take the matter to court despite several warnings from family members and loved ones who told him the fight was not worth it. They told him the people he was up against could snuff life out of him, but he remained adamant. After the first court hearing, he returned home excited. He told his family he would do everything possible to recover his father’s properties, no matter what. He then brought out his phone to respond to some messages and asked for a glass of water, as it had been a long day. By the time the water arrived barely three minutes later, he was gone. He passed away just two weeks after his father was buried. The other siblings washed their hands from the matter, and the houses are still standing on those prime plots of land in that city till this moment.
